The hotel is situated in great area, but the room I got is not the same as shown in promoted picture, in the promoted picture the ocean can be partly seen from the room but the room I got I cant see the even the beach

I enjoy my stay! Clean & spacious rooms. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Location is great and view from down stairs is lovely - right across from the ocean. Rooms have a fridge, cupboards, draws, kitchenette, dressing table. WIFI is great as well. Overall a good experience.

We had booked a room with a sea view and we knew it was above the restaurant, but we changed rooms anyway and luckily that was still possible. Afterwards we thought it was too noisy, the hotel couldn't do anything about it because the restaurant is not part of the hotel but it is located over the rooms, so when you open the sliding doors there is even more noise inside and everyone can look in from downstairs. . Even with the doors closed you can still hear everything. A tip might be soundproof or sound-absorbing windows and foil for the windows so that you can look outside but not inside. Staff was very helpful even though we wanted to move to another room, they continued to treat us correctly... very sweet... and very attentive. Thanks for that. We got a room with a view of the park and golf course, pleasant and quiet. Delicious. Nice hotel, nice staff, opposite the beach. All in all would definitely stay here again.

Great location, ocean views right out front. Was my favorite stay while in town. Restaurant on site was great with incredible staff who are very attentive. Hotel Staff was also very kind, and accommodating. Will be coming back again!

Lovely location with beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff and a great and convenient restaurant and bar on the property.
Parts of the property are a little dated and in need of some general repairs and maintenance.
Guest lift out of service for maintenance for the full 3 days of our stay.

Stayed for 6 nights in superior room. Room was excellent with views of sea and mountains from both balconies. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great and all of the restaurant staff were friendly too. This hotel is in a great position, you can walk to V&A in around 20 mins and the tour red/blue bus stop is opposite. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

We have just returned from a fantastic 12 night stay at La Splendida. Great hotel and location on the sea front, rooms are spacious, clean and airy. 8 of us stayed and the staff were helpful from beginning to end! The Sotana restaurant was a lovely place to eat and chill out after a long day sightseeing too. Can’t wait to return 😎

Stayed here with my partner for One night as we went to Calabash. The lobby area and restaurant is abslultely stunning. Great service and we loved the ambiance. I can sit in that restaurant all day long! Great food too. The gentleman -our waiter- and lady (who helped me with my phone charger) at around 15:00 - 31 Jan - were so nice and friendly! We thought the house wine were very crisp and enjoyable too! Also the gentleman that checked us in around 13:00 on the 31st Jan. So nice and efficient. Only positive critisism I can offer , is that I feel the room needs a bit of attention. The aircon was making a constant loud noise and not very cold.. and the TV … only two channels worked. Very bad reception too. Plugs.. I had to plug in my phone upstairs? No phone plugs next to the bed. Good stay overall though and will visit again.

Room was very spacious a d restaurant had good variety menu with very tasty meals and service. The common areas of the hotel lacks maintenance and cleanliness. The smoking area at back of hotel parking area is not ideal for a guest as this area not hygienic, clean nor aesthetically pleasing.
