The property was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful at every turn. My wife and I would happily stay here again without hesitation.
It would be a great place to book with a few couples for a cozy spot near nightlife.

We stayed at Harpers House for 4 nights at the beginning of our 10 day stay in South Africa. The hotel is in a great location, a 15 minute walk to the V&A but far enough away that you’re away from all the hustle and bustle of the centre. The hotel is stunning, staff are friendly, pillows are huge! Breakfast is wonderful. My only negative for this hotel is the rooms are a bit noisy, which was frustrating when people were up early on one of the mornings during our stay for a large bike ride. The hotel do provide earplugs and this was only an issue on 1 night/morning. Other than this we had a great stay

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! The hotel is close to V&A in a lovely neighbourhood. The rooms and public areas are beautifully decorated and my bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The staff are wonderful - kind and attentive. Special thank you to Alice and Papi.

It is a delight to have found this gem in Cape Town! Located in a lovely area right next to the stadium which is easy to get an Uber and travel anywhere from. The staff (night porter, housekeepers, breakfast staff) are so very helpful. Breakfast is delicious! The little plunge pool is so nice for a dip after a day of exploring. Couldn’t recommend Harpers more - we've booked to stay for another 5 nights before we leave to go home!

Harpers House was the perfect hotel to spend a week exploring around Cape Town. The location is central and walkable to the V&A waterfront or the farmers market, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I didn’t want to leave this little oasis and I would gladly stay again!

Harpers House was a great base for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding area. It is about a 15 minute walk to the V&A and we felt safe walking there day or night time, The staff were excellent,friendly and very attentive. The location was very secure, in a quiet street. We were so pleased that we booked this lovely little hotel for our 8 night stay in Cape Town and would definitely stay there again if we came back to the area. Bill and Gillian

We so enjoyed our stay at Harper’s House and were made to feel so welcome. The breakfast choices were amazing, the rooms so comfortable, with lovely linen, and the shower was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel! Would 100% recommend this and definitely stay again!
