New National Hotel and Conference

Guests pumping music at full volume until 1:40 in the morning. Phoned reception only to hear that he cannot leave reception to ‘come up’ and that we should complain in the morning. How do you get sleep? Will never return and never recommend. Terrible experience!!

The hotel staff is very friendly and I would like to give a special mention to Leroy who goes the extra mile to make sure that guests are happy.I had a wardrobe malfunction and urgently needed a needle and thread.He ran to the shop to buy me a little sewing kit as the hotel does not keep any.Leroy,you deserve a raise and an employee of the year award for such excellent service.Your enthusiasm and hard work did not go unnoticed. My overall experience at the hotel was great.However,the hotel restaurant does not open on Saturdays which was a little odd. The bathroom ceiling in my room was leaking water. On my arrival,one of the pillowcases in my room was dirty but that was rectified immediately. Breakfast gets served at 7 instead of 6:30 which means if you have an early flight,you will miss breakfast. I would give the hotel a 4,however, these minor issues force me to give it a 3.

This hotel is remarkable and located close to everything. From the bedding,shower,cleaninlines and the staff, I had nothing to complain about. To Nicole and Kesiah,you ladies are remarkable. Weldone on an excellent job.

Neat & clean, good service but far too noisy at night. Between the generator, road noise and drunkards outside my window I barely got any sleep. Suggest management install double glazed windows so guests can sleep at night.

definitely not as advertised. No air-con, no soaps etc in bathroom, light not working, power switches seemed to be wired wrongly. no lightly or power at all during load shedding...not even emergency lights. I could go on but won't that more than enough to never want to stay there again

We stayed at the hotel overnight. Staff super friendly 10/10, clean room and white sheets 10/10. But not hot water 0/10. For R1500 + per night we did expect that. The next morning as well….no hot water. Wouldn’t recommend

Good service to the friendly ,helpful staff at the hotel. The room was clean and neat . My Privacy was respected when asked . The area was pretty safe around hotel. The staff really gave a 5 star service . I do recommend the hotel.

Staff friendly, professional and available. The hotel is safe and quiet. As a first time solo traveler I wasn't feeling comfortable about this trip, however the hotel personal made me feel like I was not on my own. They were always available and really helpful.

I arrived at the hotel at about 4:15 for Check-In and there were two other guests also waiting to check in. The concierge could not determine what rooms they were supposed to be staying in. He had to make a phone call to a manager that he could not get a hold of and ended up giving 2 rooms that had not been cleaned to the guests before me. Before I could be helped, another guest who had checked in about half an hour before me, came down from his room and had complained that the room was not cleaned. The concierge leaves me at the reception (after having waited 15 minutes for the two guests before me) and goes to check on his room. He comes back down and lets the guest whose room had not been cleaned that the room will be cleaned within the next 15 minutes. I'm then helped by the concierge and he asks me to fill out a form on a paper that was not clear because the printer was not working. I'm then checked in but no room key is provided, I was told that the room has the key in the door and that if I'd like to lock the door, I should lock it from the inside. I arrive in my room and it has also not been cleaned, there is no linen on any of the beds and the bathroom contains a dozen empty beer bottles. A few minutes of being in the room and the cleaners arrived to make-up the room but this was too much for me. Don't stay here, unless you're completely desperate. I ended up leaving and finding another hotel...
