Hotel was great, great location for V&A Waterfront, staff were great and very attentive, clean and tidy, nice outside pool. While we were there building work next door was quite noisy when you were out by the pool

From the moment we arrived, Manager Natalie and Guest Relations person Faye warmly welcomed us, ensuring we felt at home. Natalie guided us through the hotel, showing us to our room, where we enjoyed a delicious welcome drink. The attention to detail and hospitality of the staff, from reception to housekeeping and the restaurant, made our stay truly memorable. We particularly enjoyed exploring the pool area, where my husband received surprise birthday cupcakes and a bottle of wine. While we declined the wine, the cupcakes and the daily complimentary cake, a delightful passionfruit treat, added a sweet touch to our experience. Faye’s kindness by the pool ensured we captured memorable moments, and Manager Yassien made sure our departure was smooth. We are grateful for the exceptional service provided by Natalie, Yassien, and the entire team at Zest Boutique Hotel.

Absolute recommendation! First of all, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff must be highlighted. From the airport transfer to the reception at the counter to the perfect breakfast service and room service: everyone, really everyone, gives 110% to make you feel completely comfortable as a guest. As described, the Zest is quite small and cozy; but very warm and welcoming - this leads to a great, warm a**osphere. Our room had everything we needed, clean and functional. We thought the breakfast was great; in addition to a small buffet, there is a menu with various options (and the kitchen fulfills every wish). There was a different "Cake of the Day" every day, which we tried once; just sit in the small garden (with pool!) and enjoy. The roof terrace has a great view of the Waterfront and Signal Hill. As a starting point for excursions - on foot or by car - it couldn't have been better, you are not directly in the V&A tourist center (about 15 minutes on foot), but there are also restaurants more or less right around the corner. Very well cared for, very friendly. Within walking distance of the stadium and Waterfront. We were present to participate in the Cape Town Cycle Tour. On that day we received extra care with an early breakfast and sports nutrition for the ride.

The hotel did not mention heavy construction and after my complaint with the staff i was not compensated. Could not relax at all since construction went on from 6 in the morning until 6 in the evening.

We loved staying at Zest! Great Location, walking distance to de V&A waterfront, modern, clean rooms, the bed was very comfortable, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had! But most of all the staff was INCREDIBLY kind and helpful throughout our whole stay! Would definitely recommend and stay there again when we go back to Capetown!

Great hotel, fantastic staff, nice room and good vegan option at breakfast. It should have been a 5 star rating. Downside is the construction next door , and I think it would only be fair to inform guests before a booking is made. Using pool is not really an option, because of construction. Rooms on building side could be noisy, and I would request room on opposite side.
