The worst place I have stayed in. Broken filthy couch, dead plant, broken fridge light, broken deep freeze drawer, plastic "glasses", damaged linoleum, free coffee is a Ricoffy sachet;view out of dirty short curtains is a depressing unfinished broken old carpark

What a disaster! Booked 2 nights with Four Seasons 1706 through Lekkeslaap in Cape Town. We had wonderful assistance from Lekkeslaap and zero from this place. The day before we would have checked in, we messaged Four Seasons 1706 at 12 pm. We also have sent an email. No reply from the owner as to our requests / inquiries. The following morning at 7.30 am, we messaged again and complaining about the slow response. We then had an answer that they will look into the email that we have sent, also apologising for slow response. We the had to send two more messages to inquire what is the situation, and still await feedback. We also connected again with Lekkeslaap to follow up on the owner. Our decision was made to not go through with our stay and requested full refund. Someone from Four Seasons 1706 phoned us, trying to convince us to stay and also made mention that the lack of communication was inappropriate. We refused and asked full refund. Lekkeslaap then connected with us again and making mention that the owner will not do the full refund, and only half of it. Re the messages that we have sent, still no response and not even opened on watsap. That left us with loss of finances, bad experience with this place and having to look for other accommodation. We are thankful though to Lekkeslaap that assisted us throughout the whole process.

My room wasn’t clean enough and had a musty stench. The furniture is stained with food droppings from possibly previous stays. Underneath the bed had paper wrappers and basically dirt from previous stays I’d like to believe .Even the dark pieces of furniture had a thick layer or glossy like dirt .Big nice glass windows but again dirty. The only plus was the TV worked well netflix and all And the WiFi was seamless the bathroom was surprisingly clean so that was good. Also bear in mind the site says 200 rands security is required on arrival. I think they should say this is required before keys and access details are given. Coz it’s not requested for at check in. Why not put it in the initial charge. I found this highly inconveniencing as I was trying to catch a plane and requesting access details as my flight would be arriving late. Only to be receiving an invoice for payment. This term should be stated clearly. Would I be staying here again or recommending it? Probably not. I feel you can get a much more decent place for this value.

Let's start off with when we got to the place we stood and waited to be assisted for about 15 mins then was told to go around to the post box to collect our key and tag just to find out there was on a key and no tag. There was then a back and forth as to where the security informed us to call the number they provided us with which is customer service right we call through to them they were so unprofessional and nonchalant because without this tag we couldn't go up to our place. The person on the call said they will get in touch with maintenance and so forth so that we can receive a tag. 30 minutes later it's 5 calls made and still no tag having to deal with the poor and unethical customer service agents who couldn't care less about the situation to 2 security guards going off at us about not having a tag as if this was our fault. About close to an hour the security then took us up and tagged us in. We got into the apartment to find a ready dirty place that smelt like cigarette smoke too with a unpleasant view of a unfinished building blocking a view and some weird stinky dirty smells when you open the door and having to see dirt and rubbish laying everywhere when you look outside. The bathroom was a disgrace dirty floors and showers , let not get to the microwave which was on top of a fridge that no one could reach and also filthy with pieces of things laying on the board. Also never heard of a place where you needed to buy your own electricity on top of booking the place and having to struggle with loadshedding no generators even. Later that day we went down to get a few foods etc and something snacks just to spend another 1 hour downstairs in the lobby when we came back because we don't have a tag and having to deal with a new security who just arrived on shift. He didn't care at all on video calls talking loud while we standing there struggling to get in. Once again a few more calls to the so called customer service who honestly just didn't care at all same things constantly being said. Then it was back and forth with customer service and the security where the agent on the call instructed him to take us up in the mean time and his saying he can't while still being on a video call as his alone downstairs and cannot leave the front. 1 hour and a few minutes past as we needed to wait for the second security to arrive. We got up stairs then made calls as we were so furious and just wanted a refund and wanted to leave. The agent on the call was helpful to a certain extent. She then said we will need to wait 24 hours with regards to the refund as an email will be sent through to us with next steps. Even more upset now as we didn't want to stay any longer we couldn't even leave the building as it's would've been a back and forth with regards to coming back up. We spent 2 days in a place where we couldn't leave at all , with no tag or any help from anyone. It was a awful experience and really a waste of money and time. Poor service ! Oh a

Room 1706 best view of table mountain, clean but has no microwave. Can get a bit loud as the room is next to the gym and people utilize it, easy to move around within the city and close to the mall… Overall experience was lovely and would recommend it

tres mauvaise expérience la pire arnaque je louais tous les mois durant une semaine , ce propriétaire m' a traité comme une moins que rien il me faisait payer au debut via la plateforme booking avec de fausses factures et à la fin monsieur me réclamait du liquide j'ai porté plainte et je l'ai signalé à la répréssion des fraudes une enquête est ouverte et je l'ai bien sur signalé à booking et à l'office du tourisme soraya ounouh
