Zash is an extraordinary jewel in terms of both food and service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there; I'm already planning to return. Let me deep dive into this a little. My husband and I stayed there for ten days in June 2023 - longer than the average stay, but we were looking to check out of the world and relax. And this is exactly what Zash offers. The food is incredible, as you'd expect of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The menu offers three set meals of five to seven courses, but don't be put off: they are happy to let you mix and match between them, or simply pick fewer courses at an a la carte price. The service was impeccable, and the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable about wines: he was also smart in assessing budget requirements and matching that to your preferences. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, too: fresh pastries and savories every day, plus eggs, pancakes, etc. as requested, and the staff could not have been more thoughtful or attentive. Other reviewers mentioned the railway line near the hotel, and I was a bit alarmed when I read this having already booked, but I needn't have worried: it was more of a low rumble in the distance (I thought it was thunder at first) and the trains are very short so although frequent, it never lasted long. I wasn't once woken by trains at night or during my siesta, but those who are very light sleepers might want to invest in a ”white noise” phone app, though I don't think you'll need it. Our room (a garden room very close to the main building) was wonderful and clean, and I loved the glass box shower (though we didn't really need two separate ones!) The only negative was the bed. Although it was a king and beautifully clean, the mattress was a bit of a nigh**are. Admittedly I'm used to a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress, but this was sprung and I felt every single spring. Didn't sleep well, and very painful when I got up in the morning, but those less sensitive probably won't mind. As for the overall look and feel of the place, you won't find more beautiful gardens, and the pool was gorgeous. The double sunbed sofas were very comfortable (I should have slept on them at night!) though I'd say they were just starting to look a bit tired and one or two had small rips. I suspect Zash is just recovering after the trauma of the Covid pandemic, so I'd cut it a little slack, but a bit of low-level inves**ent is probably due by next season. Finally, the location. Zash is off the beaten track, and frankly in a rather poor area. I never felt this was a safety issue, but the amount of trash thrown by the roadside was shocking, and a bit smelly when you had the car windows down. And yes, you definitely need a car if you want to go anywhere - nothing is in walking distance, but there are plenty of taxis. As for day trips, I'd recommend Taormino (a mountain-top town half an hour's drive away) - though it's pretty touristy, it's definitely worth a trip. The second season of White Lot

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Biai Verde in Catania Italy. Its an old school elegant type of hotel on the coast - they were in the process of refinishing the outside access to the sea. Although the pool does not officially open until June (I snuck in) and its a great pool. The Breakfast was included and was really significant. Parking was free as was the NET - Room was very clean and they have old school maids that do a nice job - the Hotel has not yet been impacted by the green wave so you get new towels every day. Staff was kind and helpful. If returning to the aera I would stay there again. Special thanks to Matt from the Front Desk - he was very help before we arrived and attentive while we were there and he helped make our stay a great one - a positive attitude goes a long way!

I stayed with three friends in this B&B in June booking via *******. When we arrived the rooms were different from the photos loaded on *******, the douche made artificially was losing water and not closed, the room itself was quite antique in the complex. We could not pay with the post because the owner was not able to pay, we paid in accounts and we were not issued invoices/receipts. They didn't give us the door keys telling us to call at any time they would open us at any time of the night (we did about returning later in midnight given the situation of the calls) The rooms are clean and handcuffs changed every day, available for breakfast (pay separately) and the possibility of using the pool (pay).

Had a wonderful 11 nights here on a half board bases, the room was comfortable and cleaned daily although a little minor maintenance required but nothing we couldn't live with, Food was adequate and the service was excellent especially Leonardo and Alexandro who did everything they could to make our experance as great as possible, although the food did get a bit samey. The pool is now open and is salt water with plenty of loungers in the vicinity. If you can afford to there are plenty of restaurants in the local area that are reasonably priced. I would say 60 euros for 2 persons without wine per meal Would definitely stay here again

Sono tornato all’Hotel Malavoglia per un “last minute” con la mia famiglia mercoledì 30 agosto 2023. Ci è stata assegnata una quadrupla ampia , luminosa e confortevole. Materassi di adeguato spessore e capaci di offrire una più che buona qualità del sonno. Biancheria pulita, climatizzazione ed insonorizzazione di ottimo livello. Il bagno dotato di ampia finestra (e non del solito impiantino di aerazione), box doccia super spazioso, vasca da bagno e due lavabi, tutto di ultima generazione. Presente un buon kit per l’igiene personale. La piscina, decisamente bella, è un altro punto forte della struttura. Molto comodi e di qualità “premium” i lettini a bordo piscina, idem i maxi ombrelloni. Presente un bel bar a bordo piscina, che ci ha servito un’ottimo Spritz con salatini. Al costo di 10 euro al giorno è inoltre disponibile un comodo servizio di parcheggio coperto nei sotterranei, con accesso diretto dai locali dell’hotel 👍. Prima colazione molto varia ed abbondante, con presenza di dolce, salato e frutta. Ho particolarmente apprezzato le torte e i biscotti, un po’ meno croissant, donuts e altri prodotti da forno. Mi è piaciuta pure l’anguria, non altrettanto il melone bianco. Sul salato non mi esprimo, non avendo assaggiato nulla. Riguardo al cappuccino, è possibile scegliere tra la macchinetta self service ed il bar attiguo alla sala colazione, con il personale che effettua servizio al tavolo. Consiglio quest’ultima soluzione, anche perché non vi è alcun sovrapprezzo..In un’occasione abbiamo pranzato a bordo piscina con quattro portate di pesce. Prezzo medio intorno ai 15 euro a portata e purtroppo, per quanto speso, risultato non adeguato alle aspettative 😕. Procedendo ad un rapido conteggio, posso dire che in questo periodo, all’Hotel Malavoglia di Acitrezza, la tariffa per persona al giorno, prima colazione e tasse incluse, si aggira intorno ai 50 euro a persona, cui va aggiunta la tassa di soggiorno. Quest’ultima incide per 2 euro a persona al giorno, bimbi piccoli ovviamente esclusi. Giudizio finale: sicuramente tariffe non popolari, ma tutto sommato siamo stati bene e quindi ne è valsa la pena😄👍!!

The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

Super technological, very clean and profumeful (especially the corridor and the bathroom towels I literally loved), all is well-treated in the minimum details. The owner, Mrs. Rossella, and the manager of the structure, Mrs. Deborah, I have never met her because, as I said, it is a super-technological structure. The check in is made with Deborah via whatsapp and phone (and I can assure you that it is very kind and extremely available). The lady opens both the door of the palace, the apartment (which is located at 5 floor with lift) and the room. Once the room is open, a magnetic card will be found on the comforter, which will help open all doors independently throughout the living. A beautiful girl who takes care of the cleaning of the structure is welcomed in the morning, very kind, educated and precise in her work. The structure is located in the middle of the market in Fera o' Luni, and this gives the opportunity to get a little bit of a bit with shopping. The evening (we have been during a weekend) there is a little confusion given by the passage of the cars parking on the surrounding streets to go to the catalan move that is a step (the rooms are faced on the road but with the closed window the noise is minimal). The rooms have a small terrace where you can enjoy the view of the Etna. Breakfast service is not offered, but it is not a problem because it is under the structure, The TH Luxury Central is easily accessible from the airport via the Alibus ship, which stops at 200 mt (we still prefer to rely on a NCC). We're not looking forward to returning!
