The hotel facilities are great! The only fly in the oin**ent that made me a little angry was that when we left the hotel and went to the pier to return to Sorrento, the front desk staff gave us the wrong port number. It was 21 but told us it was 12, which made us rush to catch up at the last moment of leaving Capri. Boat, this mistake is disappointing!

The most expensive hotel I have stayed in so far. The view of this room type is absolutely amazing. The location of the hotel itself is a viewing point of Capri Island. Fabulous stay at the top... Wrap-around outdoor terrace/patio was wonderful. A splurge, and well worth the 3 day stay... We took the advice on Fodors travel blog forum, and booked the best room where the Queen & Kennedys had stayed over the years

Hotel in a magnificent location, in my opinion the absolute best in all of Capri. Very large, elegant but modern room with a huge terrace overlooking the stacks and the entire coast of Marina Piccola. East-south-west exposure, meaning sun until the magnificent sunset. Impeccable service, extremely kind and spontaneously friendly. Obviously very high price but not suitable for some services such as breakfast in the room included in the price but the fee for delivery only is exaggerated. Ditto for luggage transport. Restaurant not to be recommended. For the rest, a truly exclusive hotel that increases the beauty of a holiday in Capri!

I did not sleep a single night at this hotel. There are wild parties directly next door non stop (violating local laws) which the hotel does NOTHING to stop despite the parties continuing at illegal hours. The staff were incompetent, incredibly rude, and refused to move my room. I left two days early because I was so desperate for sleep.

The hotel is stunning. While you could take the perspective that the windy path to your room is not efficient, you'd miss the beauty in what has been built in such a unique place. Our room was amazing, much because of the view, but everything else complemented it well. Bed was heavenly, bathroom luxury, retro speaker with great sound, linens were great, and our balcony was peaceful (although the bees and seagulls had more of our breakfast we had on the terrace than we did!). Breakfast was great and the staff were even better. Pools are small but refreshing. Flow of restaurant into pool into terrace deck was really nice. Above all, we had exceptional service. We want to specifically call out Irene and Greta at the front desk who were warm and ever so helpful - made us feel like the most important people there. Thank you for a great stay. Butler service for our bags from the port was super helpful. If I have to say one thing negative, it's that it felt cheap to bag transfer as a pay service given the very significant room rates. But it was done very professionally and would have made the trek impossible without it.
