Excellent location . The best hotel of Carcassonne

Most beautiful and only five star hotel in old city of Carcassonne. Must stay very close to everything. Elegant rooms and perfect service!!

Excellent location , food and building. Restaurant was exceptional and all staff were amazing especially aude her customer service and knowledge was beyond excellent. Divide the driver pleasant guy who also really helped us with our luggage and bringing us to the hotel and back in the shuttle from the car park. No normal tea and coffee only instant in rooms and no biscuits ??? Bathroom toiletries amazing but no extraction whatsoever, water went everywhere and flooded the floor and when we asked for extra towels we waited and waited for 3 hours to call back again as they had forgotten. Spa was a big let down we booked the hotel tub €45 for 30 minutes which isn’t an issue if it had water in it half the time. It was so hot in there no air con and after 20 mins the water was going down and it stopped as we were only given instructions to touch one button and by the the time we explained it all to the one lady staff it was time to go as she didn’t speak any English at all. 5* hotel you would expect staff to speak English to you but after I mentioned it on check they took 50% off. I don’t bother about what it costs me in a 5* hotel otherwise if you are going to watch your Pennie’s don’t go but if you pay the going rates then at a least deliver what you are charging for. This property is in a great location, but I don’t understand the 5 star rating. The rooms are old, run down and very dated. The phone system hardly worked. The pool was freezing, and had zero service. Other than location, it should be 3 Star.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a little trouble finding the parking spot for the car run by the hotel. The hotel is fantastic and William, Sophie and the driver from the parking area to the hotel we’re all just wonderful. We loved the pool also. We’d love to come again.

This place is top notch. We regret not having dined there but the pool area and breakfast areas are stunning and the staff from David who brings you to the hotel from the parking to Patricia at front desk and the rest of the staff it’s just splendid. 5 stars well earned. I will be back.

This property is gorgeous. Our room was pretty and efficient. There are several dining option and all were superb. The staff were very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
