There is no pressure in the shower, the water is running very slowly, the toilet is dirty, the toilet seat is broken, the room is hot despite the open window, strong ventilation or some air conditioning indicated, no coffee, tea in the room, you have to go to the reception for it and this is another building, and in the morning after a hard night it is not nice to go anywhere without coffee or tea, at the reception service nice, despite the details, price ok, location also about 12 minutes by car from the center

The bed was so comfy, very clean in all areas, the bathrooms was spotless and the bath and shower was amazing, looks all new and works perfectly well. There is an electric heater on the wall but extra blankets and pillows are in the wardrobe next to a decent hair dryer.. the breakfast was very very good, plenty on offer, well worth the price. Loved it here and will return again xx

there was no light bulbs, no kettles provided and rooms dirty... made a complaint for a refund however the hotel have denied any of this so no refund is provided

I can see it was once a lovely hotel but it is a little dated now in my view and needs an upgrade. It was in an ideal location for me, the staff were polite and the breakfast was lovely.
The shower in the morning was a bit of a trickle not so much a power shower more like a light sprinkle.
There are balconies and people were smoking and I had my window open due to it being hot so cigarette smoke in my room and plus when you leave your room you are walking past smokers anyway it was fine.

You get what you pay for - the room was basic which was expected given the price we paid. Bathroom was unclean with cobwebs in the ceiling corners. Car parking outside the room door was very convienient. However location of hotel to Cardiff City Centre is approx. 20mins. Room had one heater (no central heating) which was basic, considering we went during a storm! Overall, within expectations.

Overall the stay was OK, value for money based on a one night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself is tired and in need of updating but based on our experience we would return.

Worst hotel ive stopped at and i travel for work not enough water pressure for a shower and if you want to wait hours for bath to fill
