"This hotel is in a great location, just a 5–10 minute walk to the city centre and Utilita Arena. The rooms are clean and spacious, and Maria at the lobby lounge was incredibly helpful with our questions. However, the central AC struggled in the afternoon and couldn't be fixed during my stay. Additionally, lift maintenance meant long waits and no service to certain floors. The buffet breakfast is decent, though the lack of daily variety gets a bit repetitive."

"Toilet area smelt of urine. Needs extra mopping on floor. One lift not working the other very slow. Not ideal when you're on the 6th floor and the staff do not swipe the key cards effectively and we had to walk up and down six floors to get them reswiped. We had water and fruit previously but only booked standard room."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. Housekeeping was provided each but you have the option to cancel. The best part for is the location of the hotel. The hotel is located between Cardiff City centre and Cardiff Bay. You can get to both locations within 25 minutes or less. It was quite and peaceful. Would definitely return."

"This was my first time staying at a Marriott, and it certainly lives up to its reputation as a well-established hotel. Many hotels in the UK clean every three days, but Marriott cleans daily and provides drinking water and biscuits every day. Location: It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station, depending on how fast you walk. It's quite close, with hardly any turns – just follow the road straight. It's also very close to the city center for shopping; you can just stroll over. The bathroom is quite spacious and bright, and the lighting is good, making it suitable for putting on makeup. There's a bathtub, but the shower screen only covers half of it, so if you move around a lot while showering, water might splash everywhere. The room size is decent. After opening a 28-inch large suitcase, there's still plenty of space to walk around. There's also a large full-length mirror, but it faces the bed, which some Chinese guests might find bothersome. The only minor drawback is that the air conditioning wasn't very effective at cooling. Although it wasn't hot during my three days in Cardiff, I wanted it to be a bit cooler, but it didn't really work."
