"The hotel's location is absolutely excellent, right in Cardiff city center. It's within walking distance of nearby malls, department stores, restaurants, cafes, markets, and the castle, making it incredibly convenient. Compared to other hotels of the same brand in different cities, this one offers better facilities and space. However, on my first day, I had an unpleasant experience at check-in with a female staff member who treated me unfairly, which left a bad taste in my mouth. I want to emphasize though that this was just one individual; all the other staff members I encountered were extremely friendly and polite."

"Staying at the Parkgate Hotel was an excellent experience, I have stayed at other hotels in Cardiff City Centre before and previously always been a bit disappointed, however this hotel is classy right from the moment you walk through the doors. Check-in was very smooth. The room beautifully clean and well appointed with all of the things that you require. The breakfast was excellent and checkout was very smooth. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, well done!"

"Hotel is in the city centre, so its very noisy but if you book a room here then you should already know, its glorious inside, it's massive! Loved the continent location of the hotel across the road is the castle too, very close to the train station loved all the convince. Rooms need a refurb but the hotel staff do a wonderful job of cleaning. Bed is super comfy and the room is quite big, TV is basic freeview."

"A nice hotel, I’d say it’s a step up from Premier Hotels. Better facilities, good size rooms, clean and comfortable bed, two chairs and a large tv. Breakfast was virtually 1/2 of what Premier charge and plentiful with all the expected options. Nice touch to accept my case into storage free of charge whilst we went shopping after checking out.  Very Good  all round😁"

"Comfortable and Modern Stay I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The design was simple yet modern, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room was well-maintained, featuring a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, adding to the overall comfort. "The location is super convenient, within walking distance to many famous attractions, and transportation is also very accessible. Plus, the decor is unique, the environment is fresh and very clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly, making it very comfortable. Highly recommended!!!"

"Hotel is located in quiet location bit away from buzz of town center, had a comfortable sleep. Breakfast charged at GBP 15 and service during Breakfast a let down. Before the time got over, some items finished and were not replenished and on enquiry, a curt ”it's over” was not great. Parking charge of GBP 10 was a slight surprise as it wasn't clear from trip.com while booking. Hotel has a lovely terrace facing water and basic but functional bar. Overall nice comfortable stay but not good value for money."

"I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay."

"Last minute decision to stay over in Cardiff and this is in an ideal location and reasonable price. Staff at reception/bar couldn't have been more helpful when I struggled with the check in units! Room was fine, quiet & with everything I needed. Sunday night but restaurant was still open so had lovely meal there & breakfast the next morning always a cracker. Note their deal if you're having both by the way."

"Extremely convenient, right next to Cardiff's train station – the hotel is literally right outside the exit. The surrounding facilities are also excellent, making it easy to get around. It's a fantastic choice for business trips or leisure travel."
