Great
GGuest UserI had an enjoyable stay at the Staybridge suites in Cardiff. I had a good size room with amenities such as all kitchen needs etc. Good lighting in the room and bathroom, shower had two head options, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is available and topped up regularly..even 10 mins before ending. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and attended to our requests promptly. There is a car park on site however, it does get quite filled up by the end of the night so it is first come first serve. Overall, a very nice stay.
GGuest UserRoom was a little bit small and it was extremely hot at night because the AC was on heater mode and if we turned it off we could only rely on opening the windows for ventilation. But staffs were very kind and offered us two fans. Toilet was also a bit tiny but the rest is alright.
SSitalI had a very enjoyable stay at Leonardo Hotel Cardiff. The room was well-presented, spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger suite. The service throughout my stay was excellent; staff were attentive, responded promptly to any requests, and went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless. A particular highlight was being offered a takeaway breakfast to accommodate my early train departure, which I greatly appreciated.
The only minor drawback was that the room could be somewhat noisy at times. However, this did not detract significantly from what was otherwise a very positive experience. I would be pleased to stay here again.
WWellingtonTTEnvironment (Figure 1): On a remote street in Cardiff, surrounded by residential areas (Figure 2), people who are new to the city need to use Google Maps to find it. The environment is good during the day. There is a bar downstairs. The hostess is very polite. I arrived late. She found my materials from the guest information and told the password to open the door, which was smooth
Hygienic: No problem, very clean, the room is not big, there is a separate bathroom, booked a single room suitable for one person

GGuest UserI have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.
CCHEI WAI GRACEThe apartment is very clean and convenient. Walking distance to the nearby supermarket and restaurants. It’s only 3 minutes drive to the University of Cardiff.
GGuest UserThe hotel was nice, as it has a lovely swimming poo, so na and steam room. Very few chair for relaxing in the pool area, some people were sitting on the floor with their towels. Breakfast was the same with bit of change in their biscuits cereal. Bad side for food is that they offered scamble eggs only, fried and pouches eggs and omelette they charge for them.
It was my first time at the hotel or in Cardiff, it was Xmas even they seem kinda busy check in was suppose to be 3oclk but when we got there room was not ready and the receptionists were just cool about that, had to go to the desk and ask constantly which s boring.
The hotel is clean but I think their cleaning management is not up to standard, I had missing items in the room, like towels and next day I had to ask for handwash gel 100 times as it was not replaced. If you book with them maybe get yourself a suite room unlike just an ordinary room. It is a 4 star hotel was expecting a lot from them.
