Great and easy to book via trip.com. Good property but it’s a resort thus there’s resort fee and check out is subject to availability despite Bonvoy membership. Also note that we booked breakfast with the room but turned out we only have a daily breakfast credit of $44 which doesn’t quite make sense to us. Average single breakfast item on the menu is like $15-$18 and excludes coffee or drinks. Still need to top up at the end. Not great on that point. Otherwise great stay!

Love the landscape and location. The pool was gorgeous and view was majetic. My only issues is that there is only one elevator in front of the building we stayed. Took about 5 to 10 mins to get on elevator to go to our room, then when were about to leave. I took the steps instead.

Great rooms, great outdoor area, walking distance to LegoLand. Overall, great stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and polite. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can't comment on the food. We also didn't use the pool, although it looked very well maintained. For a family stay, this was a great spot.

Nice accommodations, very friendly staff, continent to the Crossings Golf Course.The breakfast at the on site restaurant was great, with many offerings, and the front desk gave me a voucher which I used for a discount. The pool area looked very nice, open 24 hours. There is a shuttle provided to the golf course. Many families there due to its adjacency to Lego Land.

Needing to escape the desert heat, we visited the resort for two nights mid-week. This was the perfect spot for me and my French Bulldog. Very spacious ground floor room with patio right next to huge grassy lawn—beautiful landscaping, too. Rooms are clean, modern (nice charging ports on nightstands), and comfortable. Great happy hour in the main restaurant (20 |Twenty). Best charcuterie board I’ve had in years. Quick drive to the cute, touristy area of Carlsbad. I’ll definitely visit this resort again!

Overpriced and dated. The Hyatt Aviara, while a slight premium is a much nicer property. The Westin rooms are dated, the sofa bed is so uncomfortable it’s clear the hotel is uninterested in kids being comfortable. The main restaurant is just ok - it’s a bit elevated but the menu seems to be trying a bit hard and isn’t that appealing to family tastes (burger spot at the Sheraton is more popular for a reason). I’m sure the location and access to Lego land will appeal to many families - just be warned there will be kids screaming down the hallways early in the morning and later than you would melatonin the evenings. We would not stay here again.

Great location. Great staff. Had an incredible time with our 2 y.o. Perfect family destination. The pool is awesome. Food is good. Rooms are clean and nice. We stayed a couple days and walked to legoland which is a short walk through a private entrance.

-Our room toilet kept running every 10 minutes at night. :(
-Toilet paper holder was broken
-Guest on the top floor from our room, decided start walking around their room at 3am too and didn’t stop till we had to leave our room for the day. ☹

Very nicely kept hotel with accommodating staff. The only issue was the Netflix was out. The technical manage r, Donald, tried to reset it a couple of ways, but evidently it’s an issue they’re working to correct after a new WiFi system was installed. Donald and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly.
