Radiator in room did not work properly, very noisy overnight, shame, would of been a great stay otherwise.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Great views and good location. The only downside is the limited parking. We were parked on sire for 1 night and then had to move 2 streets away for the next 2 nignts. But there is nothing that can be done as the Hotel is limited on space. If you know that fine and it shouldn't detract from you stay (or arrive by train to Par.) We enjoyed it and thanks to the staff.

Just an ok experience. Very poorly organised breakfast set up. Not enough bowls for all the guests. Plates aren’t where they should be. Staff are too busy talking to each other to cater to coffee orders or breakfast orders form the menu. Nice room, nice cocktails at the bar. The bar tender is friendly and passionate about his work which helps. Would recommend but it’s not amazing service.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location - a designated parking space, located immediately outside the hotel, makes it very convenient. The bedrooms were lovely, with very comfy beds and pillows and a generous, well appointed bathroom. The bar/lounge, dining room and terrace all have stunning views and there is a sunny garden for relaxing. The food was excellent. But what makes this hotel special is the staff - every member of staff we met was incredibly kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I visited for one night for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely stay. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and our sea view room had the most stunning views. All of the staff we encountered from check in, to the bar to breakfast service were wonderful. The hotel benefits from beautiful well kept grounds, parking can be reserved in advance for an extra charge which we took advantage of, and it’s only a short walk into Fowey and to the beach. The continental breakfast was plentiful and cooked options were available off the menu for a surcharge but we stuck with the continental as planned on fish and chips for lunch!

A oasis of calm in Fowey, with unbelievable views, a spacious terrace and gardens and lovely dining area. Staff couldn’t be nicer. As has been mentioned, breakfast is a generous continental buffet unless you want to pay extra. Some parking on site (book in advance, not always available, costs about the same as the main town car park a hilly 5 min walk away). Halfway between the town centre and beach, close to the Polruan and Meva ferries. Don’t miss the beautiful Hall Walk from Polruan to Bodinnick.

I had read a number of favorable reviews in the London Telegraph about this historic hotel so I guess I was expecting more. The hotel is a stately place with beautifully landscaped grounds. Our nicely appointed 4th floor room was comfortable with a non private porch in front and good views of the Fowey harbor. We had a little love seat to sit and look out the window. Also, our room came with a decanter of complimentary gin and Fever tree tonic water- definitely a first. However, the sleep quality left something to be desired. At night I could hear conversations from adjacent rooms, footsteps and furniture movement from above us and traffic from the 4th and 5th floor halls. Breakfasts were just okay. The bread selection was good as were the pancakes and French toast. But the yolks my poached eggs were as solid as golf balls and the fruit selection was poor. From the bar I had the worst martini I have ever experienced - water with a touch of gin flavoring would be an appropriate description. The food at the restaurant was not particularly good either and service at the front desk was lackadaisical.

We had a family meal here this evening, and from start to finish it was absolutely fantastic! Granted we gave a pre-order as we were a large party and it was half term, but even so it was a great experience. We ate different dishes across the menu, all of which were absolutely delicious (the vegetable past Ragu was stunning), and the kids meals were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from a family celebration, thank so much all at the Harbour Hotel Fowey!

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great food. Nice bathroom and really comfy bed. The view from my room was stunning. Would definitely recommend. Very hilly and no space in the hotel car park so we had to park in public car park and the walk to go back to the car was a very steep climb
