Hotel check in was unattended, and there is no reception/bar/restaurant but standard of room was excellent and there are plenty of nearby places to eat/drink at. Really great value for money.

Toilet stunk of sewers after using shower. It’s not a hotel, no check in desk, you get a text prior asking you to download an app to get access to the hotel/room. If you don’t do this you can phone the number on the front door when you arrive to get access. Way to much hassle a lot of better options in the area. I will not stay again and I am a frequent traveler.

Lovely clean room with very helpful staff. Only down side is that the Wi-Fi didn't work from my room and was so far away from the router that it only rarely showed up.

Don't be deceived by the outside. The rooms are modern, bright, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Lovely hot shower. Had a great nights sleep. Zoe couldn't have been more helpful and even arranged for our luggage to be transferred to our next hotel.

Our stay was good the check in via a smart phone app is good. Our first thought seeing the outside of the building was ho know what have we booked but the owner apologised and said it was under refurbishment outside so don’t be put off what you see. Once inside it’s all good nice clean room our was very small for a couple but ok for one night it’s more of a single room. The bath room was big and good shower. Bottled water a biscuit tea coffee all available. The location is very good for the town centre. Street car parking is free from 17:00 to 09:00 after that you would have to find a place to park.

Just returned from a 2 night break in the New Park Hotel in Carmarthen. The hotel is room only and has no facilities for food or drink but is well sited in the town centre with quick and easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. On entry, there is a slightly disturbing musty/smoky smell but this disappears when you climb the stairs and enter your room. We had room number 3 which has a king size bed and looks out to the front of the property. Very clean, very modern and quite impressive with complimentary toiletries, fresh super white towels and coffe/tea/hot chocolate/biscuits that added to the welcome and made a very good start. However, we soon realised that, without aircon, the room was stifling in the July heat, but we managed to open the window slightly to give some respite. This in turn gave its own problems which I shall detail soon. A small minus point, cured by using one of the said white towels, was the shower tray which, once wet, made me feel like Bambi on ice...only not so elegant! Could have been nasty. A bigger minus was the abysmal WiFi signal. When we could get it, a speed test gave a result of 1.2mbps...but this was when we could receive it, most of the time we couldn't even get the option to choose it. Back to the open window which we kept open so as not to fry. Opposite the hotel is a pizza/kebab takeaway which is open till late at night and attracts very noisy, mostly inebriated and sometimes very argumentative young people who gather in the street to discuss their evenings proceedings and settle any outstanding issues. On the first night, along with some boy, maybe girl, racers testing if their 1.0 litre hot hatches could do a wheelie, the noise went on until around 3.30am and the second night till around 2am...but it didn't end there. On the second night lots of food had been discarded on the road and pavements outside so at around 4.30am Sid the seagull and all his mates flew in for a party...what we would have given for some earplugs! So all in all, lovely rooms, great location, but ask for a room at the back and, if the forecast is for hot weather, take a fan or portable aircon machine in case you can't open the window.

Good things : Rooms are very clean and the staff are very accommodating, Bad: The location is tricky to find, as the name of the hotel is not visible as it is on the 1st floor of a nightclub. you can find it using the nightclub name vs. the hotel name. 1st Impression is not good, the entry area/door smells really bad, when I say really bad it does stink and does not feel hygienic. We booked 2 rooms with double beds, but the rooms were very small and felt very claustrophobic, people who have issues like me with small spaces should avoid this place. The owner should take steps to remove carpets in the rooms as they smell really bad, and room 7 is the smallest room in the building and should not be a double room. It is a single room with a double bed watch out while booking. 5. There is a king-size room which we got, when I called the contact as we felt me and my kid cannot fit in room 7, they did give us the room for the night, which was slightly bigger than the other room, but it had that carpet smell which kept me awake and then was an annoying light which kept switching off and on either night in the corridor. 6. Rooms are maintained very well and very clean which is the best of the work by the staff in the hotel. 7. Parking outside the hotel is free overnight, but will be fined if you are parking after 9:00 am, you might get away by 30 mins free after 9:00 am but watch out for the parking for this is about 1/2 mile away so. plan well if you have/are traveling with kids. 8. I had to adjust for the night as we had to visit the temple early in the morning, but we wanted to cancel the 2nd night but as it was non-cancellable they refused to give any money back. I had to book yet another hotel and spend an extra £200 after paying £ 360 for 2 nights here and we could stay only for 1 night with all the problems we had as indicated above. 9. overall very expensive mistake, well lesson's learned at least. I would not recommend this place if you have problems with small places, breathing problems

Wasn’t to bad , but second night there were a lot young adults performing on the streets outside out hotel , , going on through the the night snd getting louder, still going on past 2am in the morning , and getting loader . Considering there was camera all way down the street , and nothing was done . I wouldn’t rate the price we had to pay for the rooms at all
