I regularly attend the Ivy Bush Hotel for business reasons . I am extremely happy with the service that receive at bar and dining area. I am particularly impressed with Sydney, Chris and Mair who consistently go out of their way to help me and nothing is too much trouble for them . I would wholehearted recommend the Ivy Bush Hotel to anyone who values good service.

Clean and tidy hotel, location to the town was excellent. Hotel was very dated and in need of a bit of TLC. Stayed here for two nights breakfast after the first morning was hot but not very appealing to the eye as it looked dried up needed to be refreshed. The second morning breakfast was cold and tried. Would suggest that they batch cook not put all the items out at 7am and still there at 9.30am

This hotel is near perfect! Great location, attractive public area, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service especially Thomas at the bar who is very friendly and polite and all other Staff as well. I'll be coming back here again

I was introduced to the Ivy Bush hotel in December 2023 and have, subsequently, been going there quite frequently to meet with friends. Recently, I had occasion to stay overnight and booked a room with breakfast. The room was remarkably spacious, very nicely laid out and furnished, with a splendid en-suite bathroom. The bed was large and very comfortable, with good pillows. The staff at breakfast time were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and the choice of food was more than adequate. Good coffee too! At the bar my favourite person is Thomas. Nothing is too much trouble and his positive outlook is infectious. Thank you Ivy Bush!

My friends and I use this hotel frequently for evening meals and drinks. Everything is always very clean and correct. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, with Rhian (over a long period), Thomas, Kelly and Patricia especially efficient, good-humoured and obliging. All the staff showed kindness to a group of Ukrainians who stayed at the hotel for several weeks.

I came to the Ivy Bush for the third time for a nice week away after a difficult few months at work, and as always I had a marvelous time — comfortable room at a reasonable price, with excellent food in the restaurant and friendly staff like Thomas behind the bar making me feel welcome as always. I'll definitely be coming back, and I recommend this place to anyone who asks me

We had excellent service and a three course lunch. The staff are always very helpful and we would like to give our thanks in particular to three members of staff who are very professional in the way that they offer service to customers, namely Thomas, Mai and Camilla. We would certainly recommend the Hotel to our friends and family.
