We had a one night stay. It was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We had lunch which was delicious, and also returned for dinner. I had the roast turkey Christmas dinner and my husband had fish and chips. Both were really good portions and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Made very welcome on arrival and shown to our room. Checked in early but this was not a problem. Plenty tea n coffee in the room also toiletries. Breakfast got better each day and the service was excellent. Dinner was good as was the pizza. Local fish n chips in arndale was excellent. Overall a very good stay and would recommend this place for walkers and cyclists alike. We were on motorbikes and this was not a problem, plenty of parking for everyone. Friendly locals in the bar made us welcome. Staff were amazing could not do enough for us. I would definitely come back here. A little gem in the lakes .

Lovely place and staff
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely area.Really comfy bed,overlooked lovely garden.We had an evening meal which we really enjoyed it was very good. Breakfast was also amazing. Would definately stay again.

Silverdale weekend
I stayed at the Silverdale Hotel whilst doing some walking in the surrounding area.
Everything about my stay was excellent. Friendly staff checked me in in minutes and my room was waiting.
The room was clean and comfortable and well stocked with bottle water, tea, coffee and biscuits. I had an evening meal at the hotel, fish, chips an peas. The large fish was cooked perfectly, my only complaint was there were too many chips.
A very comfortable night's sleep then an excellent breakfast set me up for another days walking. The hotel seemed to be a popular pub with a good selection of beers and plenty of friendly locals. I would definitely recommend the hotel as a base for exploring the Silverdale and Arnside area.
