This was terrible experience. We had to check out and leave not even 30 mins after arriving. It was in a bad area, it was dirty, it felt unsafe, it was hard to find, the entry door would not lock, it was rodents, the refrigerator was dirty with stains all over, very uncomfortable experience and highly do NOT recommend. Wasted 175$

Our welcome was a nightmare. We stayed sitting on a beach chairs on the lobby the whole night. Our room 7 was floated. I called the call center explaining my situations asking for a new room. After 10 AM we were assigned to a new room.

When we arrived the toilet wouldn’t work and the shower was drops of water. We sent a message and called the employees to which they barely responded. They told us they’d call us back in 10 minutes and then never did. The next morning (only 1 night stay) they asked us if the same issue was happening, obviously it was.
They said they would send a technician to look. We showed the technician and he left and then we still never got a respond how they would compensate us for such an awful stay.

U get what you pay for! Not much to complain for the price! Only stay here for 7hrs since i had a flight at 2am and checked out from the resort at 1pm. Wouldn’t stay here for more than a day.

When we arrived at property we would not access right away even though it was after the 3pm check in time. We called and they reported they sent check in info but it wasn’t until we saw the cleaning crew come out of the room that we received check in information. The lighting in the main room and bathroom was terrible. There was little to no hot water and you could constantly hear water pump kick on and off. You could also visibly see where mold was or had been in the room. The bed and pillows we uncomfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and it seems fairly secure and safe.

Well, if you need a cheap place before an early flight, Pelican Poshtel sure is near the airport. Otherwise, it was not quite what we expected. The room had no windows, make sure to bring soap and shampoo as nothing is provided. It also smelled heavy of air freshener with no window to air the room out. It was cheap, and fit our purpose of a place to sleep before a 6am flight, but i wouldn’t want to stay there any longer than one night. They also send you an email saying “you are expected to leave a positive review.” Kind of a red flag. Consider other spots.

I would not recommend staying here. The photos are misleading. I have never stayed in a place like this. Our room had no windows, no phone, low water pressure, no small towels, half a roll of toilet paper, the bathroom door didn’t close. I understand it’s a budget place but the photos should be realistic and reflect what you’re getting so you’re not disappointed when you come here and feel like you’re in a jail cell.
