Hotels Near Centro Cultural Ciudad Movil in Cartagena

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Cartagena with a courtyard inside that looks like a botanical garden. When I booked the hotel, I was a little worried after reading some not entirely positive reviews, but I do not regret staying here for three nights, especially since other hotels have more negative reviews. And  here is my conclusion. Great hotel with air conditioner in the room, swimming pool and rooftop which i really like. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak english, especially Juan David. This young guy speaks good english, he is very helpful and erudite. The other guys also left good impressions: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar The breakfast here is great, you feel like you are in a cafe, they will prepare food for you to order. The dining room is located on the fifth floor with a view of the city.  I read that some guests had complaints about the noise from the street. Guys, if you want to live in a quiet place, then you need to book a hotel on the outskirts of the city, but here in the very center and on the busiest street, do not expect that there will be silence. My room was inside  with a window to the courtyard, and there was no noise from the street. I give them five stars, and I really hope that the management will encourage their employees who try their best. And of course I recommend this boutique hotel. ---- Замечательный отель в самом сердце Картахены с двориком внутри похожим на ботанический сад.Когда я буковал отель то немного переживал прочитав несколько не совсем позитивных отзывов, но я не жалею что остановился здесь на три ночи, тем более что у других отелей больше негативных отзывав.И вот моё заключение.Отличный отель с кондиционером в комнате, бассейном и rooftop, что мне очень нравится.Персонал очень дружелюбный, часть из них говорит по-английски, особенно Хуан.Этот молодой парень хорошо говорит по-английски, он очень отзывчив и эрудирован.Другие парни тоже оставили хорошие впечатления: Antony, Gustavo, Nilsa, Oscar Завтрак здесь замечательный, вы чувствуете будто находитесь в кафе, они приготовят вам еду на заказ.Столовая расположена на пятом этаже с видои на город. Я читал что некоторые постояльцы имели жалобы на шум с улицы.Ребята, если вы хотите жить в тихом месте то вам нужно буковать отель на окраине города, но здесь в самом центре и на самой оживлённой улице не ожижайте что будет тишина.Моя комната была внутри с окном во внутренний двор, и не было слышно никакого шума с улицы.Я ставлю им пять звёзд, и конечно я рекомендую этот отель ----- Un maravilloso hotel en el corazón de Cartagena con un patio interior que parece un jardín botánico.  Cuando reservé el hotel, estaba un poco preocupado después de leer algunas críticas no del todo positivas, pero no me arrepiento de quedarme aquí por tres noches, especialmente porque otros hoteles tienen críticas más negativas. Family trip to Cartegena with our 2 early 20's daughters. Fantastic location and quality. Beds super comfortable and rooms were spacious. After touring city we spent afternoons on roof top pool/bar. Hotel arranged a day trip to a sister hotel on Isla Tierra Bomba. Great facility. Entire staff was extremely helpful and service oriented.

If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would. To be honest, a generally excellent hotel. Impeccable service, delicious food, clean and tidy facilities, comfortable rooms and in a very nice area. The only possible improvement is WiFi coverage, but that's the smallest detail.

I was upgraded to this property from the OZ luxury hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this action and enjoyed the larger room. I’m not sure what there is to complain about for this hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The check-in process was easy and when we asked for recommendations for restaurants they were happy to help. Breakfast each morning was different Columbian cuisine which I enjoy when traveling. It was fresh with a good variety of choices. If the local cuisine is not your liking they make eggs to order which is a nice added touch. I loved being in the Bocagrande area it isn’t as busy as the walled city it is more of a beach town vibe. Uber to the other attractions ranged from $3-6. I can say I fell in love with this property and Cartagena and look forward to coming back soon.

This is an amazing hotel in Barrio crespo. Close to beaches and with awesome views. Pool on roof. Attentive staff and the fish ceviche was off the chain Very new and very clean. Highly recommended. Stay here, not Boca Grande

Rooms are a little tight but over all a great Hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful especially one of the managers by the name of Mauricio. The hotel and pool are very well kept and it is well organized. Room service has great food and coffee. Will definitely be back.

Location: City Center (Old Town Cartagena) is 15 min- 25 min away depending on traffic. If you don't care about seeing old town, then this may be ok. The hotel is located at La Boquilla next to a bad neighborhood, so be aware of people harassing you at the beach at all times, and keep an eye on your belongings. When you leave the hotel always walk to the right towards the city, don't go left or you may find yourself in a very bad location really fast. This is a special note to women traveling to Colombia. Hotel: Clean, food is ok not great, staff was friendly except for the people at the front desk. They seemed to be always busy, and behind their daily duties, so they will rush you, and not give you proper attention, they need at least another person at the front desk at peak hours. Pool is ok, service at the pool was good. They will ask you to provide a pass to get a towel, so don't loose the pass or the towel, you may get charged for it. (Not a fancy systems) Reminds me of hotels in Colombia back in the 80's when towels were a luxury. Beach: Biggest disappointment of the trip, water is dark, and the sand is gray/brown. You cannot see your feet with a foot of water on them. Note that as soon as you come out of the hotel towards the Beach there is a security guard from the Hotel at the door, part of his job is to advised you to watch your belongings, and not to buy anything from beach vendors. This gives you an idea of this beach. Forget about bringing your own umbrella or beach chair, there are vendors that have taken possession of the beach by renting umbrellas and chairs, if you don't rent from them, you will be left out to use a small portion of the beach very close to the water. My advised is to pay the $5 dollars and rent from them. Beach vendor will harass you all day long. Avoid buying food and always ask prices up front before ordering drinks or anything else. There are horror stories of people paying $25 for a Coke. I don't recommend this place for families, or for single women visiting the city, much better options in Bocagrande or Old town. The place is ok for single guys or business. Hope this helps,
