While this is a beautiful, 5 star hotel, the best part about it is the helpful, smiling employees. From Felix at the rooftop bar, to Emilio serving breakfast, to Ronal at the consierge desk, to the gracious Housekeeping ladies, everyone at this hotel is totally invested in making your stay exceptional. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend the Charleston Santa Teresa! I traveled with 3 other friends and we got two different rooms. The hotel was extremely clean and our rooms were serviced twice a day. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the friendly staff. The hotel was extremely safe and in a great location close in walking distant to the town, restaurants and shops.

Very expensive but it is deluxe. Right now the hotels big problem is the DJ bands playing across the street and there is no way to sleep. They played past 130am. Appears that this is a current issue for this high end hotel and upsetting guests who want to sleep. We ended up changing rooms which is a major pain. Got a smaller outdated room and no lower rate. Guest services/concierge is truly amazing. Incredible service. Bellmen as well.

I do not recommend this hotel. An expensive belt was taken from our room. I filed a complaint and this was the response: After following their security protocol, it was determined that the belts were not taken from your room. We were assured that they completed a very exhaustive investigation, and there were no findings on what have been a security breach or fault on their part. They were not at all accommodating and did not offer any compensation.

The hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean and the service was excellent. I love the location which is close to basically anything. Ronald in the guest services department was great and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, I can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at the Charleston Santa Teresa made our family vacation in Cartagena perfect. The entire hotel is spotless, the restaurant and bar great, but what really makes the place special is the staff. In every area we encountered: Doormen, bell boys,reception desk. Food and beverage , and housekeeping, people were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. One outstanding area was the Concierge desk. Ronal in particular helped us plan and reserve incredible meals and a day trip to a private beach club. Every one of his recommendations were spot on and nothing was too much trouble. We are eager to return to Cartagena and when we do, we will stay at the Charleston once again.

We dined at this restaurant at this hotel and our experience was excellent! Our waiter Nelson was very efficient, professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome and satisfied! Please thank Nelson for his excellent service!!! Excellent job, Nelson!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Charleston Santa Teresa in Cartagena. The room provided plenty of space for two people, the shower was incredible and we appreciated having a safe for valuables. The rooftop pool was refreshing and the scenery beautiful! We enjoyed big delicious breakfasts each day and enjoyed drinks, lunch and dinner at the Wedding reception we attended. We really, really appreciated Ronal's help in arranging a walking tour for us and dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant. His easy manner and can do attitude was delightful and extremely helpful.
