In pieno centro a Caserta, comodissimo per la reggia, parcheggio coperto a pagamento esterno alla struttura distante pochi minuti, numerosi locali per mangiare a poca distanza. Le camere confortevoli e pulite, colazione ricca e con brioche di pasticceria. Il proprietario Onorato è davvero cortese e super disponibile.

Menna who served us breakfast each morning was the star as far as the staff are concerned. She remembered our coffee order each morning. Breakfast room overlooked the pool which was a very relaxing place. The October warmth allowed us to sit by the pool each late afternoon. Air conditioning required asking the front desk to turn it in. Not acceptable. The curtains were coming off the rails. Not acceptable. The wifi was very slow. Not acceptable. Hot water was not very hot. Not acceptable. Noisy neighbours with screaming kids in neighbouring rooms. Not acceptable. Location of Caserta allows easy day trips to Naples, Pompeii and Salerno. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

Generally speaking, the hotel is not too high in terms of location and cost performance, and the reservation for this trip is seriously inconsistent with the reservation description. The triple room is just two beds in an ordinary standard room, and it is OK to bring children. After negotiating with the hotel, They said that this is Ctrip’s tagging error, and it has nothing to do with them. There is nothing to do. Fortunately, Ctrip is also positive about the matter and handles it properly, and it doesn’t affect the mood too much.

Qualified staff available and always careful ! The new top rooms are well made ! No more moquette is present but a splendid parquet, completely refurbished ! Note negative forget the boxes , they have been removed and replaced with metal layers that give a sense of disorder and in the shower there is no longer a shampoo shower layer!

The Vanvitelli is a very nice hotel.... The structure is an old house with a large courtyard which was converted into a lounge with cover over the 4th floor with a huge crown light hanging in the middle. The rooms are spacious and clean....

Upon arrival in Limatola we followed our satnav to the hotel, when the satnav eventually stopped there was no clear signage as to where to go next but with Google maps on air view we managed to work this out and continued up the hill through a small arch way - we had an Audi A4 but anything bigger wouldn’t have made it to the car park. Upon getting out the car we headed to what we thought must be the hotel but we ended up wandering around for ages as there is no clear signage to the reception area. Eventually we found reception and managed to check in, the chap didn’t really speak any English at all and we had a fair hike with no lift to our room. The room was really dark with hardly any windows, the bathroom was tiny and again had barely any light at all, the room felt cold and even more basic than the pictures had shown prior to booking. There was certainly no fancy lighting in the bathroom and we had booked a Junior Suite - which this room certainly was not. Our room was located around what was probably the old dining hall and the hotel had covered the open air section in a plastic tarpaulin, it was very windy and this was making a really loud slapping noise which could be constantly heard in the room. The restaurant appeared closed and the minibar only had water or Prosecco so we decided to walk into town - there was no staff anywhere to be seen in the hotel and as other people have commented there appeared to probably be a wedding on that weekend. Limatola was like a ghost town, what there was was closed & there was nobody anywhere, we visited on a Saturday so we’re a little surprised by this. When we eventually got back to the hotel we decided to checkout straightaway and stay elsewhere, upon checking out the staff couldn’t have cared less and didn’t ask why we were leaving when we had only arrived a short while ago. It was such a shame as the castle from the outside is stunning but unfortunately the rooms feel unloved and uninspired, the hotel has potential to be beautiful but it appears they care more for the money from weddings than the accommodation they provide. We ended up staying in the close by town of Caiazzo, as this is where we had dinner booked & it was incredible, a gorgeous typically Italian town with a beautiful Airbnb, shops, cafes and a bank.

Esperienza gradevolissima. Attenzione e cura nei particolari . Attentissimi alle richieste (accappatoi, spazzolino da denti e ciabattine ) evase nell’immediatezza. Camera super confortevole . Parcheggio interno alla struttura molto comodo . Area esterna curatissima. Cena davvero buona. Personale educatissimo . Rapporto qualità Prezzo del soggiorno e della cena assolutamente in linea. We absolutely loved our stay here and didn’t want to come home. Like many other guests we were staying as a family group, visiting relatives in Marigliano so it was a great base. It would also make a fantastic stopping off point for anyone driving through Italy, away from the more touristy parts of Naples. Hotel, grounds and pools are absolutely stunning and so well maintained. I don’t think the staff ever stopped working to keep everything looking perfect. Staff were so warm and helpful and we felt well looked after. Breakfast was very generous and the bar reasonably priced with a good selection of brands. We particularly enjoyed the wine selection. Shuttle was €80 into Naples and a non hotel taxi €50 -€70 to the airport
