We experienced it again after 9 years and although the spa remains the same, which is perfect, the quality of the buffet has been greatly reduced. I don’t understand, they serve Chinese themed dinners at a price of 30 Euros per person, but the quality is poor, and the rest of the products are very few. The Chinese buffet does not have the price of this hotel. If you want to eat that type of food, just Go to a Chinese restaurant. The first thing we missed was the ham slicer, all kinds of meat and fish, many desserts and Haagen-Dazs ice cream. Not this time. The food for the next day is almost in the same line, there are many different versions of vegetables, creams, salads, stews, tempura... but the rest of the food is very scarce. My feeling is that the hot spring is worth it, but the buffet is not worth it.

Guest rooms and some public areas have been updated to give more of the hotel a contemporary feel. Location excellent of course. We booked a river view room: the view was great but you have to stand to see it. A room with balcony might be worth the extra cost, but there is a nicely furnished public outdoor terrace with views of the river and hills. Spacious room, spotless and recently decorated, walk in shower. Parking used to be free, now 5 (others had obviously found free street parking). Lift now reaches the car park and River Club level. Meals are slightly cheaper when booked with the room. Restaurant has been redecorated but still lacks any atmosphere. Breakfast is good for the price, but we would have enjoyed the bacon and omelette more if they were hot, or at least warm. Shower gel and soap (no shampoo) in small plastic packets, poor coffee and ”juice” at breakfast: minor things but just seemed to be penny-pinching!

This hotel surprise me. The price is cheap for the location (for me it doesn't matter, we used only in the middle of a long drive), the cleanness is perfect, the breakfast for only 5 eur and ALL YOU CAN EAT with many things is PERFECT. The people was amazing and the room a little bit small, but for only one night is perfect. The TV is on a desk pointing to nowhere, you need to turn the tv, and the shower could be a problem, because the water goes out, not curtain or glass, but I am not going to clean it. If you are traveling with a car it could be a problem, for us was a quite difficult to find a parking place close to the hotel.

It seemed good, according to its level, clean, ordered, it had what it needed and it was just what I needed. The beds are well, soaps and new towels, well coated (neither hard nor soft). Full bathroom inside the room, table and chair, box with hairdryer. Very quiet. A lot of area where you can park both at the same door and around the building itself. It has good WiFi. The hotel is located in the hotel's reception, which is attached to this hotel. Air conditioning. The entrance has a small room, a bathroom and drinking and food machines. Bars and cafes across the back of the building. A Carrefour supermarket crossing the street. The hotel and the room are entered by card. They won me as a fixed client.

Hôtel super sympa. La chambre et le petit déjeuner sont très bien. Par contre le menu proposé pour le dîner sous forme de buffet est vraiment très chiche et pas à la hauteur en comparaison de la qualité de l’hôtel. Llevamos bastantes años pasando las vacaciones en este hotel, y estamos encantados. Es un hotel familiar donde nos encontramos como en casa. Cerca de la playa, cómodo, limpio, con oferta gastronómica variada alrededor. A diez minutos del pueblo. Con buen desayuno y un jardín muy agradable. A destacar : la limpieza del recinto en general y las habitaciones en particular, la amabilidad de todo el equipo (director, recepción, gobernanta y limpiadoras). Las habitaciones con aire acondicionado y ventilador en techo, y aunque cómodas creo que habría que hacerles una pequeña reforma. Siempre volvemos!!! Entre todos nos hacen sentirnos muy a gusto y desconectar de la rutina.

I'm used to stopping in Benicassim as a stop on my trips to Andalusia. I travel with a dog and, having not found a place in the usual hotel where I stay, I chose this one because it accepts dogs. The staff is very kind and helpful, but the hotel is decidedly old with dated furniture and the bathroom is certainly not the best. Nothing to say about cleaning. There was a problem that bothered me a bit: we had booked a room with breakfast, but upon arrival we discovered that it was served from 8.15 onwards, too late for us who had to continue our journey ; at this point we immediately gave up on the service, I mean upon arrival!, but we had to pay it anyway and they didn't give us any explanation. They told us that if we wanted there is a coffee machine in the hotel! We won't be back

4 night stay just didn't get any better. The staff just don't seem to be interested in making their residents happy and making it a pleasing experience. It is the small things. The hotel lacks the basics and the interest of the customer. I went to the bar for a drink at 11.20pm (could be any drink) and stood for about 30 secs. Barman never looked up. I then took 5 steps back and said 'are you closed'. 'Si' was his response and he still never made any eye contact. The next evening, I asked for a charger for a Apple phone. - Quick response was no. don't have one. Not looking to see if they could accommodate me -too much trouble for them and no better for me. It was a flat no. They could have contacted their partner hotel just yards away, but just didn't bother. Poor manners, no interest. Just can't understand this behaviour.

What could have been a bad experience was saved by the front desk staff going beyond the call of duty. We arrived to find that there was a bikers convention with over 200 bikers staying. Very beautiful hotel and service minded staff! Plenty to choose from in the breakfast buffet. Spacious rooms with minibar in the room as well as AC and safe at no extra cost. The hotel is also very centrally located but not too noisy to get out if you come by car. There is a garage under the hotel, parking cannot be booked in advance. The reception opens the garage when you drive down. I wouldnt recommend a SUV going down this garage since it is very tight between floor 1 and 2. It is also important to be patient because there can be misunderstandings between cars going into the garage and out of the garage. The cars that are going out of the garage have a green light 2 floors down when it is ok for them to drive. The cars that are going down have no light they can look at or the ability to see cars coming up so misunderstandings can happen....especially if you come from different countries. So remember to be humble and it will work out if a situation arises where one car is going into the garage and another car is going out. I think it's quite rare that it happens but still good to be aware of it.

Guest rooms and some public areas have been updated to give more of the hotel a contemporary feel. Location excellent of course. We booked a river view room: the view was great but you have to stand to see it. A room with balcony might be worth the extra cost, but there is a nicely furnished public outdoor terrace with views of the river and hills. Spacious room, spotless and recently decorated, walk in shower. Parking used to be free, now 5 (others had obviously found free street parking). Lift now reaches the car park and River Club level. Meals are slightly cheaper when booked with the room. Restaurant has been redecorated but still lacks any atmosphere. Breakfast is good for the price, but we would have enjoyed the bacon and omelette more if they were hot, or at least warm. Shower gel and soap (no shampoo) in small plastic packets, poor coffee and ”juice” at breakfast: minor things but just seemed to be penny-pinching!
