I was amazed by Alpina
I decided to go to the Dolomites on this trip.
Although it was autumn, it was still very comfortable.
Spending more than 1,000 euros a night, I also got to experience the lifestyle of the rich in Europe and the freedom of integrating into nature.
When I woke up early in the morning, I saw the Alps and felt like I was in a movie and a painting.
This is not Switzerland, not Xinjiang, but the Dolomites in Italy.

The family trip was amazing thanks to the hospitality of Como alpina Dolomites hotel. Amazing staff and service. They can print you out the ski passes. No need to stay in the queue in front of the ticket office. Beautiful landscape could be seen from the restaurant/bar terrace or the room balcony. The restaurants are next door so you do not need to go any further. Just use slippers :-D 2 negative points - the ski deposit is blooooody too far from the room (e.g. 122). you can turn on your fitness app for that journey no town within walking distance... it is a bit far from Ortisei.... but, we were so tired after whole day ... so... no need to walk anywhere :-)

In March 2024 we enjoyed it again in Como Alpina Dolomites. A special hotel in a special setting, the Seiser Alm. After visiting the hotel for many years as Alpina Dolomites. Now part of the Como group. It's taking some getting used to because the color schemes have changed and all the staff have been replaced. Unfortunately, some staff are still a bit inexperienced. However, it immediately felt like old times. Top location, very good lunch and dinner, nice wine range and maximum attention from the waiters. Swimming pool, wellness and sauna environment are still superb and of good quality. Terrace outside very good. As an extra, there is now a bar/restaurant from Como Alpina Dolimites on the slopes where you can relax in the afternoon with music and very nice staff. And here too a nice lunch / dinner menu. Looking out over the Seiser Alm is already a pleasure. Especially when the weather is good and skiing and hiking are at their maximum. Definitely Como Alpina Dolimites again next year. That's for sure.

Unexpectedly, it stands out in the Alpe Plain without disturbing the surrounding environment and remaining in symbiosis with Nature. The outdoor swimming pool is splendid. The owners are also wonderfully welcoming. Excellent value for money, we are back

We have regularly treated ourselves to a week's holiday in this luxury hotel for more than 10 years. The location is incredibly beautiful. The architecture inside and out was special and very harmonious; supported by understandable references to the Dolomites and nature. This concept ran elegantly through the entire hotel; warm natural colors and materials. Unfortunately, that has now changed completely. It has new owners. It is apparently to be redesigned. Of course, that can be necessary after a decade, but here it was carried out during ongoing operations and was clearly not completed, resulting in a really untenable mix of styles in the rooms that has little to do with the pictures on the website. The prices have gone up. The way the team dealt with this situation was unfortunately also disappointing - I had explicitly asked several times before traveling what would change. In summary: a bitter disappoin**ent indeed.

The decoration from a family of owners to a hotel chain is truly deplorable (what a lack of taste!). You have to pay for electric charges...It's a bit petty, compared to some Austrian hotels where it's free (eg: Alpenhof hotel in Hintertux, run by a family). Water with meals is at an exorbitant price (free and unlimited at the Alpina hotel in Obergurgl). Really look again at this blue decoration. Fortunately, nothing has been changed in the rooms where comfort, sobriety and good taste are essential.
