What a wonderful stay! Martin and Melanie were fantastic hosts and made our lovely stay all the more pleasant. Very comfortable room, peaceful and relaxing and the effort put into the breakfast was no less than amazing!!! Can’t wait to come back and will definitely be bringing the family with me next time.

My bf and I stay here every summer and with good reason! Martin & Melanie always make us feel incredibly welcome, it's like a home from home for us and we look forward to visiting and chatting to them. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated yet full of character. The rooms are always immaculate and their lovely garden to the rear is so tranquil. Upon arrival from the north on a hot day they poured us a cold beer to sit out in the sunshine with. They also can't do enough for you during your stay; including early check-in, driving us to nearby places, keeping our bags safe while we were elsewhere and putting on a gorgeous breakfast spread with homemade granola, fresh fruits and pastries and Martin's delicious scrambled eggs on the nicest bread ever! And of course the lovely dogs who are super friendly but really calm (so if you're nervous with dogs it's no problem) BF was laughing at me for trying to get in our room without unlocking the door - I forgot that we were technically in a hotel! We'll be back next year!!

The second time we have stayed here, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The very comfortable, elegant room - luxury bedding and thick fluffy towels, the gorgeous garden and delicious breakfasts with lots of home-made treats such as granola and fruit compotes. Melanie and Martin are charming and welcoming hosts, for whom nothing seems to be too much trouble.

Amazing bed and breakfast with the friendliest owners who did everything they could to make my stay a really great one! The room is super spacious and I was fortunate to nab the bathroom with a bath! Despite it being a one night stay, it was long trip and bath was welcome - they even provide the bubble bath and salts! Breakfast was generous and fresh with real coffee!! This will be my first point of call when I am in the area next

WOW - what outstanding service, unlike The Newt that we travelled to! Martingand Marian are superb hosts. We were late arriving and they quickly sorted out booking us a table at the local pub. The room was lovely and they had lots of special touches, pillow spray, plenty of different teas to choose from. But the breakfast blew is away. We came down to a multitude of delights to choose from, most homemade. Freshly made coffee was in abundance.

Absolutely beautiful B B run by great owners, who serve up a the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Local pubs are amazing selling great food also! All the shops you will need and a beautiful 10 minute walk up a hill behind the B B to take in the view of the surrounding area. Perfect Stay.

Excellent six star service . Very homely atmosphere provided by hosts. The breakfast was delicious with home made specialisties. Beautiful well maintained gardens. Quiet and peaceful overlooking the meadows. We visited the Newt and the B&B is convenient located. We highly recommend anyone considering visiting the area. Andre & Dina

Melanie and Martin are the perfect hosts, making us feel very much at home. A lovely, stylish house, with lots of personal touches and an outdoor area and garden perfect for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. The breakfast is truly outstanding, with a range of delicious homemade compotes and fresh fruit, the best granola ever and Martin’s scrambled eggs a tour de force.
