Very good location and everything very good for its price. The only bad thing is that you can't leave your suitcases at the accommodation if you arrive before or leave after.

Well where do I start. What a difference from the travel lodge in Swansea, which was dirty and shocking. Cardiff central is friendly with lovely staff who could not do enough for us. Room looked and smelt clean? Sheets spotless and crisp. Room a little worn but so clean. We were at the back of the hotel and there was no noise till about 8:30am the following morning. Lift was joy working and has been out of order for a few weeks. Did struggle a bit due to this but the hotel is under renovation. Manager thanked us for our feedback and was approachable and friendly like all the staff. Will stay again.

The staff at this hotel were so amazing, I had come to Cardiff with friends and was staying at a different travelodge, I got lost and ended up here. The staff assisted me in calling for a taxi and also provided me with a warm drink and allowed me Inside while I waited, their kindness was so well received

Avoid like the plague if you need any sleep, the noise from the clubs directly underneath shakes the room all night. Only consider if you are a clubber looking for somewhere to doss afterwards. Travelodge need to re-brand this one as a Doss-lodge, it lets their other good hotels down.

Brilliant location for the railway and nightlife (we were on a stag night). Brilliant sleep (best for many years). Staff were amazing. Not even a minor grumble. Never stayed in Travelodge previously so was a little anxious but they were truly great

Great central location, staff pleasant and rooms clean. Noise from bar next door so loud couldn’t hear TV unless up very loud. Website does mention noise but prices almost on par with other hotels and less facilities
