Bel Jou Adults Only - All Inclusive

The entire staff is par excellent. I’ve stayed at nanny places but Bel Jou staff is by far the best overall!!! Leo, Taysia, Cyprian, Dean, Princess, Brendan Kidada, 😌 and others I can’t pronounce their names but stand out tremendously with their care and personality Activities were outstanding and the director made it even better Jeffery with the G😂. Miss them all like family already

What an amazing experience. We were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel so welcome. Our room was spotless and spacious. The food was amazing. But what made our anniversary special was the staff. They were friendly they went over and beyond their job role. My husband and I have never felt so so special. Special thanks to Jafree and Cyprian. Bel jou has made our Anniversary a memory to treasure. It is indeed special gem. We are definitely coming back to this amazing hotel.

The service was excellent, friendly staff.

Beautiful views. The music and shows were entertaining and fun. The grounds were kept up nicely. The coffee was great. The food was delicious. The staff members were kind, helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in our comfort.

The property is nice. However is extremely quite - no carribean sounds during the day, no real activity except 9pm live music or DJ. You have to pay for bottled water- no mini bar in rooms. Its good for Relaxing. But if you dont like super white places this is not the place for you. the staff are very accommodating and the food is great at the hummingbird restaurant

If you’ve ever been to match day at Wembley you will have an idea of exactly what it’s like to have 32 Trinidad football squad members in a small couples only hotel in St Lucia ! The noise at lunch today when they are seated on a massive 32 place table was truly shocking - how the management allow such behaviour in an adults only resort bewilders me - and is certainly not what I was sold ! For such a beautiful island, and what could be an equally beautiful hotel has been spoiled by the pursuit of money - yes I’m sure that 16 rooms filled for 4 days is great but when you sacrifice and disrespect your core market you are heading for problems…. We certainly would not come back - and when there is so much competition out their for your annual holiday - I would suggest you look for a hotel that respects and cares for its clients over a quick way of making a few pounds…

Don’t believe anything that you read…. We had a fantastic 2 first days at Bel Jou, yes the hotel is dated and the facilities are limited, but the hotel is quaint and is adults only so was romantic, quiet and exactly what we wanted it to be….. that was until 32 footballers turned up…. Apparently the hotel has to accommodate such large groups to finance the future of the hotel, however when you have spent 12 months looking forward and saving for your holiday the last thing you want (but will get) is a large, rowdy, uncouth, overwhelming and intimidating group of footballers…. They took over the buffet, the pool bar, the pools, the dining area and ultimately took our peaceful and romantic holiday away from us….. While we have been here, 3 days so far, we have had 4 large groups of people (some business some pleasure) so be warned…. If you want a romantic, adults only, boutique hotel ….. look anywhere else because Bel Jou is NOT for you ….. I just wish someone had warned me before I came…..

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The manager has the ethos of happy staff - happy guests and his leadership shows. All staff in all departments were wonderful. Andrea, Brendan, Princess, Nicole and Jaifree are people who stood out but there are many more who work just as hard and helped make our stay memorable. Buffet food was varied and great quality. Food in the a la carte restaurant is not the 'fine dining' experience it promises and some dishes were quite disappointing. Carribbean night BBQ was amazing and entertainment perfect. Pools were both great. We struggled a little to always get shade and they might not have enough beds if hotel was busier. Daytime yoga, pilates, walks, aqua aerobics by Jaifree were really good and an opportunity to get moving as the hotel isn't in an area you can walk from easily. We took the shuttle to Castries and Vigie Beach which we would recommend but for info there are no umbrellas, just beds and the dappled shade of a couple of trees. Room was comfortable but needed a little tlc - third floor, ocean view (beautiful view) - we didn't like the two small doubles and would prefer one large king or even twins pushed together. Hairdryer, TV and kettle all quite old but worked. The air con was old, a bit noisy and not that efficient. Thankfully there was also a ceiling fan. Our first mattresses were really old, soft and had springs poking out. However, we only mentioned this briefly to Andrea at breakfast having not slept and looking terrible and she immediately reported this to reception and when we returned from an excursion we had new mattresses - superb customer service! The way the hotel/staff dealt with issues was exemplary - that's partly what stands it above any other hotel we've ever stayed in. Potential improvements - cabanas don't have enough shade - they need curtains that can be moved with the sun. When prepping for events the pool bar shut a bit early so we were sent to the main bar but this wasn't yet open - this happened twice and one night took 20 mins to get a drink as all staff spoken to were too busy. Might not normally have been an issue but this was always as sunset was approaching. We loved this hotel and all it's staff and would happily recommend it to anyone who likes a calmer, smaller and friendlier hotel, a little out of the way but with breathtaking views and brilliant staff and management.
