We stayed in this place for one night during our honeymoon in Italy. The location is nice even though a bit hard to find, it’s hidden behind the big gate. Alexis was very helpful with the luggage and welcomed us with the introduction, in the room there was a book with suggestions for dining places and sightseeing. We loved the style , it looks quite impressive with the high ceilings and big windows, feels like you’re staying in the museum. The breakfast was nice for B&B, too. The music playing gives you special vibes. That was really a unique experience! The only disadvantage for us was the noise from the street, it was super loud until 3 a.m., couldn’t fall asleep for a while. We also suggest to provide two types of pillows for the guests, ours were very hard to sleep on. Apart from that, everything was good. 👍🏽

This is a wonderful experience in that you stay in rooms hundreds of years old with 20+ foot ceilings and gorgeous decor. Alexis was fantastic in ensuring we got in ok and were oriented with great Recs for meals and sites. The room has wonderful WiFi and AC. Breakfast was a smorgasbord of many selections and endless espressos and teas. We will return.

Alexis and Angelo were wonderful. The space is gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and it was easy to find. There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. Casa Santangelo is a wonderful stop in Salerno if you want to get away from the crowds of the hotels with easy access to ferries, restaurants, and other sites.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was like staying in your own private palazzo. The room was spacious and furnished with beautiful antiques. Location was charming and close to several restaurants. Alexis was a wonderful host, very accommodating and shared recommendations for restaurants and activities in both Salerno and Rome, our next stop. An exceptionally memorable stay for both my daughter and me.

We loved this beautiful suite, it was like going back in time with so many original features and little artefacts that Alexis has picked up. It was clean with a modern bathroom and the breakfast was adequate. The location is perfect too, surrounded by many restaurants and bars and even a small beach nearby. Thank you to Alexis the host for a lovely stay.

Great charming bed & breakfast spot. Alexis speaks great English and was very helpful. His breakfast spread is better than any Italian bakery, making a nice start to the morning. The 1800’s room was like sleeping in another time period. Highly recommend.

You’re not going to believe this one. How about staying in palatial rooms in the style of 19th Century Grandeur with all the modern conveniences and a host who knows where to eat dinner and provides a great breakfast in the dining salon? Easy to find, close to all the places you’d want to go, a five minute walk from the spacious underground parking garage in central Salerno. A memorable event in its own right!
