Hotel Cavtat

Fabulous state of the art hotel. Excellent lifts to all floors. Luxury quality bedding and furnishings. Fantastic buffet breakfast with everything you could imagine to eat. All staff friendly just one receptionist that was sour faced when asking for our passports for the third time as our room wasn’t ready on our arrival.

There were a lot of positives about the Hotel Cavtat and just a few negatives. The position is perfect with regard to where you are in Cavtat and also proximity to Dubrovnik. We had a sea view balcony which was definitely worth it - the view is amazing. The room was really nice, clean and modern and we were more than happy with it. Unfortunately there are no kettles in the room but we did ask and managed to get one, but if you want one might be best to take your own. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and we had no complaints. Reception staff were very helpful. The pool area looked good but unfortunately it was too cold when we were there to use it plus we didn't have much time with exploring the area! Our main issue with the hotel was a lack of indoor seating when the weather was cold and wet especially in the bar - there were literally about 3 tables with chairs which were always full and they didn't want you to sit upstairs as they were for diners. Really needed some more at this time of year. Overall though can definitely recommend the hotel. A good tip if you go to Dubrovnik is get Dubrovnik Pass at 35 euros for one day or 45 euros for three days which included the wall and various museums and money off other attractions so definitely a good buy.

This is a beautiful hotel situated in the perfect place. The cleanest, quietest hotel we have stayed in for a long time. Room cleaned daily. Gorgeous views. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice and views over the marina. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location and to be honest that is the only positive about it. When we arrived at 11am despite being on a package holiday we could not check in until 2pm. The pool is not a swimming pool it is merely a plunge pool. Breakfast was at best chaotic tables not cleared, hot food not fresh obviously sitting on hot plate for hours,tea and coffee machines regularly breaking down and staff appeared blissfully unaware when they did. The hotel bar is basically a room the size of a garage with two sets of tables and chairs and no a**osphere. We had a sea facing room and the balcony was the width of a chair tiny and uncomfortable. All in all a very disappointing hotel

Just had the best massage with Vincent at the Lavanda Spa. Vincent is a very knowledgeable masseur as he is a, qualified physiotherapist. I certainly would highly recommend to anybody staying at the hotel. The staff at the spa were extremely helpful and very well qualified

Stayed here before so booked half board as usual. Room & bed & house keeping excellent, as always. However, seating outside has all but disappeared and patio areas look bleak & uninviting. Breakfast was good BUT at dinner, there was minimal choice, that was served tepid. At best, it was unappetising and, at worst, inedible.

Visited Lavanda Beauty and Physio Centre during a recent stay in Hotel Cavtat, thank you Vinko and your staff for the service you provide. The deep muscle massage was one of the best I have ever received. Vinko is very professional and knowledgeable.

Very happy with this hotel in cavtat, highly recommend it for a trip to Croatia. The fishing village is a calm scenic chilled out vibe and you have 3 transport options to dubrovnik- water taxi €10, bus €4 or uber/local taxi €20. The option to jump on a boat to see lokrum or elaphiti islands is great and the views from the balcony are stunning, well worth the upgrade for a balcony with sea view. My room didn't include a kettle or iron but you can see what is included before you book. Despite this I brought a travel kettle and the cleaners noticed it and chose to provide 2 mugs with spoons and a decent kettle free of charge which I really appreciated, the cafe downstairs also provided free milk. Staff were friendly and I would book this hotel again in future. The only downside was the temperature in the room. I was cold on most nights and couldn't get the aircon to work on others, if you go end of April it is a little chilly so pack accordingly, I'm glad I took my coat and jumpers.

The room was adequate for a short stay. Very clean, fresh room, with a good shower. The breakfast choice was excellent, catering for everyone's needs. A good location with easy access to the harbours edge and restaurants!
