It was a cute place, not what we expected though. It was a very small room and the walls were paper thin so we felt we had to be very quiet. Also, the main demographic here felt like 50-70 which is fine but again felt the need to be super quiet. It just didn’t fit what we like.

Unique hotel. Loved the cozy room. Loved the comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Love having B&B instead of having to go out for breakfast. Coffee was great. One thing I would have liked was a small refrigerator in the room, but good anyway. Did love the jetted tub. Very relaxing after a hrd day.

Our visit to this well cared for historic property was memorable. Our room, although small, was comfortable and in the older section of the inn. There were larger rooms in the inn, as each room was different and unique, and we plan to return to enjoy a larger room. The breakfasts were substantial and varied and the homemade pastries were quite a treat. Later in the day, Cedar Creek Winery wines along with cheeses and snacks were offered and a delightful addition of our stay. The inviting dining area was also available for reading, game playing and socializing all day. Although I stand by the 5 stars I gave Washington House Inn, I must mention for the benefit of the Innkeeper that the WiFi under performed. The password protected WiFi never worked and the non-password protected option was very spotty. So please work on that for future guests. Otherwise we loved our stay. Thanks.

We stayed at the historic inn on the last night of our Lake Michigan Circle tour. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We especially liked the quiche and breakfast pastries. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and learning more about the history of the village. We had a great dinner at the Anvil Pub and Grille, which was formerly a blacksmith shop. We also grabbed some treats at Amy's Candy Kitchen, located next door to the inn. Our visit to Cedarburg was short so we hope to come back someday. Thank you. Marilee S.

By far, one of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed in! Very clean and well-maintained, complimented by the amazingly friendly staff. Its location is perfectly set in the quaint town of Cedarburg. We enjoyed our daily, home-made breakfasts along with the evening wine and cheese social hour. Met some wonderful guests also staying at the Washington House Inn. Love the history of the building, as well. We will definitely be back soon.

A terrific location for visiting Downtown Cedarburg. We booked with little notice so only a small room was available, but it was very nice, comfortable and really all we needed. The bed was wonderful and the service very friendly and helpful. Considering the location, quality of the room, wine & cheese evening snack and nice breakfast, the Washington House offers an outstanding value, and we'll definitely be back!

The staff was great as was the included wine and cheese social hour and the included breakfast. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in that area of Wisconsin. Our room had a whirlpool tub and fireplace. It made for a very special romantic getaway.
