As soon as we arrive we look for a parking space, we can't find it and we have to park on the street. At the reception they assigned us the room, very nice with a balcony overlooking the sea and a hydro tub in the bathroom. Pool quite large and clean, breakfast plentiful and varied.

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view of the sea and the old town. Everyone is very friendly, especially a very special waiter called Mario, who is simply unbeatable. The restaurant and bar have a wonderful ambience and delicious food. At the pool you can take part in the entertainment program if you want, but if you don't want to you won't be bothered and you can have peace and quiet. The city is about 15 minutes away, which you can walk along the beach, and there is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel. The rooms are cleaned daily and have air conditioning. I have stayed in the hotel many times and when I have had a problem I have always been helped straight away. For example, once the balcony door wouldn't close completely and someone came straight away to fix it.

I went with the school, the hotel was nice but as soon as we entered the room the bathroom and the beds were full of hair and in the toilet there was a handkerchief dirty with pee. The next day, as there was a disco, the corridor was filled with smoke.

The girls at the bar are unpleasant, they don't say hello and are rude, it's a dirty, unwelcoming place. I don't think I'll return. They should do a more thorough staff assessment before hiring and give behavioral guidelines to avoid this.

I have previously stayed in spring and on several occasions with less massive presence of people: it is the best period (in May I was also able to swim in the pool); the self-service restaurant is crowded but the food is good. Unfortunately in July the situation was not particularly exciting: low and crowded swimming pool, no free deckchairs, noise, no tranquility. The entertainment was good (the staff showed commi**ent to entertaining people). Sea not captivating and not particularly clean; you have to walk a long distance to reach the beach, among other things by going down some stairs from which you could smell the bad smell of wastewater. Small inconveniences in the room, however, were immediately resolved. Strategic position of the hotel to easily reach the city center by car or bus to enjoy the beauties that it offers to the visitor.

With my wife and a group of good friends, I went to this pleasant hotel, from December 30th to January 1st, to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Well, I spent some wonderful days with my wife and my friends, resulting in a pleasant and sparkling New Year's Eve party. The various rooms that offer a sea view just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cefalù city on the shoreline made us live like in a golden dream. the excellent food served in a wonderful and elegant dining room by elegant and impeccable waiters of which Mr. Luigi certainly rewarded us with the choice of location, all accompanied by music which from the second day onwards was pleasant. After more than 740 reviews written on TripAdvisor in several parts of our beloved globe, I admit that the Santa Lucia le Sabbie D'oro hotel is a flagship among the myriad of hotels of the same level of importance (****), so I highly recommend it to all travelers like us (from Catania and beyond).
