This place was fantastic! I stay in hotels all over the country and this one was exceptional! The staff was kind and friendly, our room was spacious, clean and super comfortable with over stuffed comfy beds and a nice hit shower in the morning. The gym had dumbells, a cable machine, a bike and a treadmill. The had a nice little pool that was clean and bathwater warm. The free breakfast was all the good stuff, Eggs, toast, waffles, yogurt and so on. Location is nice for local shopping and fast food. Loved this place will definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel as an affordable half-way point on our journey. We found an excellent price online and liked that it had a pool/hot tub and breakfast. For the price I'd say we got what we paid for. The beds were clean and comfortable, the hot tub did the trick, and the free breakfast was quite large and staffed by friendly people. Overall it's an older property and as such, is in various states of upgrading. If you want thoroughly updated and meticulously maintained, well.... you'll likely want to drive another hour closer to the Twin Cities and spend a bit more. If you just need a place to sleep and a good breakfast, it gets the job done. And as long as you're in Forrest Lake, grab a cup of real good joe at Kodiak Coffee and enjoy the lovely Lakeside Park after you check out.

First off I had back surgery a mo month ago so I thought maybe we should get a disability room because of shower and I need a chair in the shower anyway so first thing can’t get in the room I figured it was the key well turns out after a hour stuck outside the room with all my belongings inside the battery needs replaced in the door second there was poop on the floor in the carpet I covered up wit a towel decided I couldn’t stay in that room just wasn’t going to they gave me another room and I go in the bed is completely empty no sheets pillows on the floor blain a chair go back get a different room and it’s at least ok there seems to be a wet dog smell trying to be covers up will never ever go to this place again I feel like I should get a total refund

Overall this was a good choice for me to spend time with my local family. The pool was a little cool but sufficient for the grandchildren to enjoy. This is not a modern facility and the TV's were small and outdated. The breakfast was good. Loved the waffles. Didn't care for three staff hovering while I ate. There were more staff in the breakfast area than in lobby checking in. Check in was slow since there was only one staff person. I did like the suite feature and that bedroom was separate from living area. Overall a good value for the money.

The room was not clean, never seen a room in that condition. We have stayed there before and was satisfied with the room. Needs better housekeeping! The staff was fine. Checking in and out was okay. Very disappointed

The cleanliness of the room was a disaster! Hair and dirt on bathroom floor. Carpet not vacuumed. Food crumbs in pull out sofa sleeper and desk chair. Bedding in pull out sleeper dirty. Not the most friendly staff, except for the gals putting on breakfast. They were very nice and helpful. Would not recommend to anyone, won't be visiting this hotel again.

Great visit, everyone on the staff was helpful, kind and efficient. The breakfast was great and I was really happy to be able to have a clean and relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy my meal. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

You will be amazed at these accommodations! Towels were so thick! Loved everything about this location! We were very pleased with staff, billing, breakfast offerings and everything about our stay. Try it!

There were no curtains in the room. The room faces the gas station and stop lights for the freeway. The bathroom sink drain would not open, causing me to wash my hands and brush my teeth using the shower. Very very clean!
