This time in the United States for the Spring Festival, booked the apartment hotel in advance. The hotel is located in the south of the gate of Penn State University. The surrounding environment is good and the transportation is convenient. The free loop bus White Loop inside the university passes by the hotel. The hotel is fully equipped and the free WiFi signal is very good (login is valid for one week, and you need to log in again after expiration). The room is large and the facilities are complete; Open kitchen electric stove, various pots, bowls, dishes, knives and forks, refrigerators, dishwashers, coffee machines and other kitchen utensils are very complete, can meet all kinds of cooking needs, but lack of hot water bottles. This time I booked a 4-person room. There is actually a big bed. The sofa in the room can be easily opened. It is also a big bed. Pillows, sheets and blankets are provided for free. The family spent the Spring Festival in the hotel, went to the supermarket to buy daily, cook by themselves, very convenient, comfortable, cost-effective. Highly recommended for long stays, users with cooking needs.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and we're always pleased with our room, the breakfast and the pool. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We stay at Best Western hotels as often as we can and we find this is one of our favorites
Super 8 by Wyndham State College

International students studying at penn state university stayed for a few nights before staying in the apartment. The breakfast is quite good, it is very convenient directly downstairs, and the taste is OK. The location of the hotel is a bit far from going to the penn state university. The bus may take 18 minutes, only the p line can be reached, and the waiting time is longer. Walking directly may take a little longer, and it is recommended to have a lot if you have a car. There are many restaurants and markets around, very convenient. There is a large parking lot in front of the door. The normal facilities inside the room, equipped with a microwave refrigerator, quiet at night.
Sleep Inn Near Penn State - State College

This was our first visit here and we were happy with our choice. It has a good location which is very close to the college and only a 10-15 minute drive to Tussey Mountain. The grounds are very inviting and landscaped nicely. We were greeted by a friendly face and felt welcomed right away. Our room was fresh/clean but mirrors were a little cloudy from another cleaner other than window cleaner. The bed was comfortable, although pillows could use an upgrade as they were kind of small and ”lumpy”. A few small cosmetic things would really make rooms nicer but overall this was a very good stay. The complimentary breakfast had nice choices and the attendant was very helpful. If we ever return to area we would stay here again
Hampton Inn & Suites State College at Williamsburg Square

Unlike other reviews of this Hilton property, I was extremely grateful to even have a room in close proximity to State College move-in weekend. This is my third stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Williamsburg Square, and it is my first stay during a crushing volume kind of weekend. I was relieved that I had booked it so far in advance, unknowing it was the PSU move in weekend. With that said, compared to my previous stays, yes - the staff was stretched, but my room was ready at check-in, impeccably clean, and front desk and housekeeping staff were responsive and accommodating to my requests (which were few). The pool was very clean, the breakfast area looked like a huge volume of families had moved through, and yes - there was a crumb here and there, but the food area was surprisingly spotless and well stocked. Coffee was full and hot - which is a thing of mine. Having had stayed at this property earlier in the summer, during a very quiet low volume weekend, I can say in my vast experiences spent in college towns across the south and northeast at Hilton properties - this property and the staff have met and exceeded my expectations! Is it expensive on high volume weekends? Of course. This is a huge university town, and compared to a Gainesville, FL or Ithaca, NY I found the price reasonable. Bravo! I look forward to retuning soon.
