Hotel Stella Del Mare

Hotel located in a beautiful pine and two steps from the sea; clean, with a beautiful outdoor courtyard with so many enjoyable tables both day and evening. The rooms are very simple, with minimum furniture and should be reconstructed mainly in the bathrooms: very small rooms and the shower is virtually inexistent: panels must be opened in the middle of the bathroom to delimit the shower box, But it washs everything and it's not practical. I appreciated the small balcony that gives on the pine with a stick of my usefulness. The really positive note of this hotel is breakfast: a buffet very rich in both sweet and salt piets, various varieties of cakes, croissant, bread, marmalades, cereals and seeds for yogurt, salses, juices and so many other things for all needs. It is recommended for short stays and for those who have no so much claims; we have been a night and we have been quite well.

Dante Family Beach Resort

An unfortunate hotel in a very prime location of the city. The hotel is dated, in fact it is a throwback to the 80's. The decor is lame, and old. The rooms have no decor whatsoever. Let's start with the room: this is an old room, with old furniture. TV is a joke, my laptop screen is larger than their tv. bed is firm, and the bathroom is large with ample towels. The spa is a waste of time. There are ”mood” showers, but in fact none of them work, the only ”mood” it got me was a bad one. The steam bath is worthy, but their pools lack basic maintenance in that the jets don't work properly. They force you to wear a bathing cap, even though there are no opportunities to dunk your head under the water. You are obliged to book an appointment to use the spa, but it remains fairly empty. This is an ”all-inclusive” hotel, but the food quality is bellow average. Italy is known for their food quality, this hotel does not carry this quality. The breakfast is behind a glass window. It is supposed to be a buffet, but you are not allowed to take on your own. The only egg options they give is scrambled and it is runny. The croissants are behind a window - you have to beg for one. The Juice is processed and comes out of a fountain - it is absolutely terrible. The coffee is low quality. The customer service doesn't exist. It seems that the hotel and the staff have been scared by rowdy kids. There are signs warning families to control their kids and to keep them in check. The staff is rude. They don't speak English and if they do, it is to tell you that you need to change seats, or you need to hurry up and leave because they want to change shifts. The maitre-D is horrible. The onsite restaurant is extremely low quality. They have one choice for lunch/dinner, which is pork. You better like it, because that is all you are getting. The food stations carry a tri-lingual sign describing what they are feeding, except it is printed in 12-point font in a small sliver of a paper in three languages. You will need a magnifying glass to figure out which three lines can you understand and what you are eating. The hotel is paranoid on their towels, beach towels and their bathrobes. There are more warnings posted than curtesy's about your stay. Overall, this is a place to avoid. There are several options in the city, with a better price point, and much better restaurants to eat from in the city.
