I went there with my family and the stay was so good it was my 2nd visit . The food , ambience , view is so satisfying all the services are up to the mark and Ms Sangeeta who is incharge of this hotel she is so good , she knows very well how to deal with customers.. Chail is a sleepy little hamlet and Vue Magique Resort is the icing on top! If you love to holiday at a destination in the hills where there is little to no mobile network and you have nothing to do except gazing at the vast spread of hills; reading a book with a cup of coffee/tea by your side; then Chail is the place to be. And vue magique resort is recommended as it has all the facilities which would make your holiday memorable. To begin with they have ample parking space. Then, Mr. Monu Sharma, the front desk manager is always eager to help you and is prompt with answers to your queries. The food they served at breakfast and dinner was non-spicy; so you don’t have to worry about having an upset stomach after your stay. They are pretty generous with the portions they serve. We had high tea with pakoras and cookies; and the portions were enough for 4 people. We stayed for 3 nights during the Independence Day weekend and We enjoyed our stay. They have a pool table, Table tennis, foose ball, cricket, badminton, wall climbing, Burma bridge, swings for kids. It rains at the property anytime and you are greeted by clouds and mist! We checked in room 208 and it had the best view possible! The tariffs are also reasonable. This resort is rated as a three star property; but that may be due to absence of swimming pool, gym, spa, bar; but who needs these facilities when you are in heaven of Himachal! P.S: The resort is around 5 kms. Ahead of Chail at Janedghat.

The view from the room and the open dinning area was spectacular, room was clean and presentable, and the service was excellent. Everything about the stay was great except the noise from a party that was being held at the hotel by a group kept me up till midnight and sploit my sleep. Maybe sound proofing needs to improve. Overall, it was good enough for me to stay again in future.

The hotel is not worth its price. The room does not look like the one shown in the photos on the net. There was no water in the bathroom for the whole night. Even I could hear other guests complaining the same. But the staff pretended that our was a one of case. We had to use packaged drinking water to do the basic morning chores. Then we went to the washroom next to the lobby. Even after complaining there was no water till 10 AM. Moreover the hotel staff was not apologetic and just treated the complaint as BAU. The food was good and the food service was quick at dinner but was slow at the time of breakfast. Overall it is not a hotel worth staying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good part of this resort was the food quality.

Our stay in hotel purnima was fantastic, rooms were super clean and our host kailash left no. Stone unturned to assist us in whatever we requested for. Super value for money rooms. We had planned 2 nights in kasauli, 2 nights in chail and now we are going to kufri for 2 nights all bookings done on makemytrip and it has been a seamless experience with all the hotels we checked with the help of makemytrip.
