The Serai Bandipur

The stay was extremely comfortable. Food was of high quality. The resort is located close to wildlife. We could see deer near our room early morning. The resort arranges for safari to Bandipur Tiger Reserve (on additional pay basis). The staff were very courteous. Very calm atmosphere. Enjoyed the vibe.

Wow. Liked everything. An excellent base for safaris in Mudumalai and Bandipur. All staff so polite and professional. Exceptional place. Our log hut was huge and what a lovely view from our sit out balcony. Food was excellent and still dreaming of my cucumber cooler cocktail! The pool was beautiful - great colour of tiles! Also loved our nature walk. I've fallen in love with the birds of India! Huge thanks to all the team

Enjoyed our stay at Serai Bandipur ..Great staff and they made our kid’s birthday celebration memorable by being very supportive and we felt at home. Nice roaming around on bicycle close to nature. We get to see Deers within the property. Thank you

Great place for a chilled out, relaxing staycation. The r sort borders theJungle. The jungle is also entirely natural with varied flora and fauna including Flame of the Forest. The pool and bar overlook the Nilgiri jungles with a stunning view of the Jungle Sunset. The ambience is good. Nature walk educated one about the various birds and their birdsongs. Great change from bustling city life as there is ABSOLUTELY no sound or pollution. ONLY the rustling of leaves and different birdsongs. Do download the Merlin app if you're interested in birds. The rooms are v spacious and they have log hut types also. Although the resort itself isn't huge or comparable to the luxury ones in India. But worth coming for the rejuvenation and nature reconnect. Phones don't work. They have wo fik The staff is limited but very att ntive, personal service and polite. Most are from nearby villages and have good local knowledge. Good is good - south Indian and even north indian. Continental or italian not tried. Room service is v good. Chef Elam is attentive and polite, the dosa (take the plain dosa) is superb! Great service by Ramesh and Chintamani too We saw wild boar, India's smallest bird and spotted deer within the premises. WE WERE ALSO EXTREMELY LUCKY at the Early morning safari - spotted a small full family of elephants,lots of peacocks on high perches, painted stork AND a blithe, elegant young female TIGER ! - walked with absolute chill right in front of our canter at the 6.30 am safari and marked her territory by spraying trees. Almost 10-15minutes good view.

If we could give ten stars we certainly would!!! Beautiful location, well kept rooms, very friendly & courteous staff,awesome buffets for breakfast & dinner. The cooperation, courtesy & friendliness of the entire staff needs to be further emphasized. One of the best we’ve experienced. Thank You!!

Just average. We were in log hut. Hut design itself is not well thought. Lights are not adequate . Bird watch is scam. I paid for it in advance and later realized there is nothing. One person will walk you on village streets and show some random birds. Even after paying I did not go. Best part is, pre booked cannot be cancelled . Customer care does not work after 6pm. So total money waste . Charges are high but overall not worth the charges . Just average.
