We just came back from a 7 days at Kiani beach resort and I could not wait to write this review. If you looking for a 5* hotel then look elsewhere. This is NOT one, max 3* with!! If the staff weren’t that friendly and helpful I would give you 2 star rating. Rooms - decent, cleaned every day, but the smell from the drain was unbearable. It was like walking into a sewage after whole day on the beach. One soap dispenser in shower for everything?? How can one soap works as a shampoo, body shower and conditioner? As in 5* hotel you would expect bottles of each or if you call yourself eco friendly put 3 soap dispenser with different products in it!! Common sense. Food - very avarage and very plain, don’t expect Greek cuisine as there was not much to it. Food was very plain especially side dishes as potatoes rice (no seasoning in any of them) even my 2 and 9 yo. didn’t want to eat it cause they said it has no taste. Poor selection with almost the same stuff every day. After 3 days you get fed up with it. Labels above dishes were every day wrong or none or it just said baked chicken but in what with what ingredients (allergies maybe)?? Me and my partner had a stomach pain after 4th and 5th day (not the only one there). Drinks - 5* and all inclusive? You must be joking. The cheapest poor drinks from a machine tasted like plastic. No fresh juices, everything from the weird sachet mix machine with water - . No coke, fanta, sprite or anything like that at the bar this is not what I expect from a 5* hotel all inclusive. Beer from a tap was either non alcoholic or watered down. Cause we had like 20 of them each one day just to see if it will do anything to us and guess what. Not even a bit. Cocktails included in all inclusive are the tackiest and cheapest colourful crap you can get with weird spirits and juices from machine. Any extra cocktails you had to pay extra yet the bartenders didn’t even know how to make margarita etc. I had to tell him what to put in it. Plastic glasses not dried at all, dirty and wet. Coffee not even gonna bother - disgusting machines, for a better coffee you had to pay extra again. Basically the all inclusive didn’t give you anything extra only food which was poor as well. Everything else you had to pay extra and extra. Just to take more money out of customers. Beach/pools - a lot of lounges which is a plus so you never struggled to find any available space, 2 outdoor pools one with swimming lanes, 2 for kids, nice and clean. The water was freezing cold though but that is I guess normal as they didn’t have much time to warm up yet. The indoor pool - that pool was freezing cold (on doors it says heated pool) not sure what that was suppose to mean but for sure it wasn’t heated. We had two rainy days and expected to “heat up” a bit in the indoor area with pool and play with kids. Oh well not really. I had to ask to put the heating up at least in the room. This could be improved. No changing areas either. How you supposed to go to
