Booked for 12days. Paid upfront. Owner XARA did not inform us MAJOR roadworks were in progress. 12 days of drilling, angle grinding from 7am. No access to the road. Shocking customer service! She was more worried about how she was going to cope. We flew 15 hours! Would we recommend her hotel? NEVER ! ! Worst accommodation experience

Sono stata al Joy hotel la scorsa estate e sono rimasta entusiasta al punto che lo ho consigliato ad amici, parenti e conoscenti. Tutti soddisfatti!!! L'hotel è una vera delizia!!! Tenuto benissimo, super pulito!!! Le camere sono così spaziose e confortevoli da sembrare degli appartamenti!!! Deliziosamente arredate e tenuti in perfetto ordine e pulitissime. E poi la ciliegina sulla torta: i proprietari e la loro famiglia lo gestiscono in modo da farti desiderare di restare lì a vivere e non tornare più a casa! Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci

This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!
