The room was nothing out of the ordinary but I didn’t ask for anything special. I heard the suites their are amazing! The location is perfect! Staff was great!

Best in town. Staff super helpful especially Richard!! Restaurant was great too. Can’t say enough about how good everything was! I really appreciated the advice of what to do and where to eat!! I recommend Lenoir on site for dinner! And hot and whatever for breakfast!

Let me start off with a Positive! This hotel is a great downtown location. You can walk anywhere and there are a lot of restaurants near. The Lenoir located in the hotel is also a positive (good food and drinks). Minus- We paid a lot of money for a renovated Marriott (and we are Marriott Rewards Members) the remodeled bathrooms are unacceptable. First day, we settled in our room and decided to get a shower before dinner- the shower (room 510) did not drain properly. We notified the front desk and they called maintenance. It was irreparable, so we were moved to Room 301 (handicap room). This was worse than the first room. The renovation was horribly done. SEE PICTURES! Each time we showered water flooded the floor. You had to stand underneath the shower because it is made for a HANDICAPPED person (who may wheel the entire chair in the shower). It was a fiasco but we decided to endure rather than move a third time. Please take my advice and make sure you are not booked in either of these rooms.

Richard was so nice when a vehicle emergency popped up. He went out of his way to expedite our departure and was incredibly kind. What ended up being a frustrating end of a weekend get away was assisted by Richard and the front desk supervisor, Magdalene. Thank you both again.

Upon check in I was delighted with the hotel. After entering my room, Everything was disappointing from there on and I am so upset I just spent that kind of money on this hotel. I am happy to submit the view from our hotel room which was awful, the shower didn’t work and it remained 75 degrees the entire time in the room. All of that was fine and I kept quiet however, upon check out, I kindly asked as a Bonvoy member if they would be as to kindly allow me a 1pm check out as our flight was delayed from the snow up north. I was given until 12 and told I just return my key to the desk as if I was not trusted. One hour for my time and money seemed like an easy ask but the women at the front desk could not afford me that opportunity. Really a bad name for a Marriott property and something I have never experienced. We went out to find another hotel as our flight was cancelled and decided to give our money to a different hotel with the kindness and appreciation. Ps parking is $46 a day- more than my rental car

Came here for my birthday and enjoyed very second so much. We didn’t want to leave and are seriously considering a vacation home here now! The hotel and town itself (besides the college kids) is full of the friendliest and sweetest people! We could not have had a better time and it truly made my birthday trip INCREDIBLE! Huge Shout outs to Regina, Seth, Dana, Deen (sp?) for all the incredible and completely on point recommendations and the extra touch with our suite! Everything could not have been more perfect! ❤️
