The room was clean as expected. The fact that they no longer clean and replace the towels daily was great to us. But for the price we paid we had the worst breakfast. I realize there is no kitchen in this facility and all they are capable of serving is pre made food that is reheated. However they have control over the quality of products. The worst eggs, not enough fruit for all the guests, the sausage and potatoes were also just warm. We have been staying at this hotel for twenty years since the family circle tennis which now is Credit one tennis was moved here. This will absolutely be our last stay.

Love this hotel, it was very hip and edgy. The location is a little bit outside of central downtown and the surroundings are a bit run down but I think they are working on it. I love the aesthetics of the hotel!

We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn! Our only comments are the breakfast was okay (COVID restrictions limited the choices) and the hotel has a slight musty smell as it’s an older building. But you cannot ask for a better location and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Everyone was rude except for the housekeepers, which were over the top nice and are very hard workers. The manager of the building doesn't know their names because she said ”They don't speak English”. She didn't smile, welcome me or say anything until it came time to check out where she asked me to leave a glowing review for (her), including her name which was Von. Being on vacation I was in a good mood, the city has some pretty areas yet when it came time to check in, I was met with a cold attitude and like I was a pain to deal with and all we did was stay in our room and then check out. We didn't have any extra requests or anything. There were extra fees for things we never did use... The pool wasn't particularly warm and everyone can see you since it's in the front, the restaurant and bar were closed and I would say overall it is very basic. My mom wasn't thrilled with any part of it but I thought the room was super clean and had your basics which I appreciated. The music in the lobby was loud and really annoying and the music in the pool area was loud too but I just put in earplugs so it was okay. :) I'm pretty easy going and honestly don't leave reviews often but I was put off by the manager and staff. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have stayed in downtown Charleston, West Ashley, & Mt.Pleasant many many times over the years and I finally decided to give the Indigo à try for a long 4 day weekend. From the time I arrived plenty of onsite parking, the bell hop whisked my luggage inside with a big smile and warm welcome....well that was just the start!! Everyone at the front desk smiling and welcoming the guests...the process was so fast and effortless and quick to point out complimentary coffees, water(still &sparkling) 24 hours. The the room was amazing. The whole hotel was clean &I felt like I was on a tropical resort. Poolside there is an indoor/outdoor bar with wonderful bartenders and the fried green tomatoes are a must try!! The made to order breakfast and staff were again on point in every level of service and we tried shrimp& grits, crab cake Benedict, omelette to orde, best bacon, I could continue but everything we ate was so hot& delicious. Then of course if you want to sightsee downtown or head out to any of the beaches or Islands it's a turn out the parking lot onto Hwy 17 and they are all within a 10 min drive This will be my new go to hotel toall my friends, family,& business associates!! ENJOY!!

We are Diamond members and selected this hotel because it used the fewest number of points. This hotel is fresh, modern, clean and new. Standard rooms were surprisingly large. No microwave, but did have a refrigerator. We had no issues with nouse from nearby rooms or hallway and slept well both nights in room 427 (did not face the main road). Large lobby with great hangout areas, pool table, board games, snacks/drinks for purchase, included breakfast and coffe/tea available all day. There is a nice, large fitness center with precor treadmills/elliptical that included tv which allowed for several live tv choices and you could even access your Netflix account. Hotel location allowed for easy access to shopping, downtown, Boone Hall Plantation, Shem Creek Park, Palmetto Islands County Park and park under the bridge. We ate dinner at Basil one night (upscale, Thai) and had smoothies, wraps and salads at Tasi Bites and Blends for lunch the next day (about 6 min drive from hotel). Just know most of the soap, bodywash in room has a strong lemon smell, so bring your own if you don't like lemon. Shampoo and condition was supposed to be some sort of beach scent, but reminded me of sunscreen. There is a hair dryer in the room, small desk, upholstered chair, ample storage space and a few hangers available. Overall, a surprisingly great stay. All staff were really friendly and our family felt welcome just hanging out in the lobby to watch a football game, sip our wine and play pool. We needed some time away with all the Covid restrictions and this was perfect. Rooms were well sanitized and very clean... so seemed like housekeeping staff was great too. Staff at the front desk was a bit dismissive and parking costs $20/night. Breakfast not included but there’s a restaurant on site. Pros: - great location, close to attractions, restaurants, shops - Wifi works well - rooms are relatively clean however I found a few hairs here and there - rooms are spacious enough - Check-in is at 4pm officially but our room was ready at 2pm so we could check in - mini fridge in room - the hotel is nicely furnished and decorated - 24-hour fitness center - 2 complimentary bottles of water - Coffee machine in the room Cons: - staff at the front desk could’ve been friendlier - bed too soft and pillows too thick - A/C didn’t work properly—the room was either ice cold or hot

Wyndham hotels are always a great choice. I look for this brand whenever traveling. This location did not disappoint on service and cleanliness. The morning breakfast makes it a plus when needing to stay for work purposes.

I reserved a room for 3 nights in June online. I was on a road trip and decided to stay in Charleston a few days before heading to my next location. I only take vacations once every 5 years more or less and this was my first trip in years. I presumed that when I paid with my credit card online that I was good to go. I had stayed at another hotel in the area the night before but they doubled their rates for the weekend, and it was more than I wanted to pay. So, though this hotel was farther out from the city, it was close enough. I presumed with a reservation there would be no issues checking in whenever, so went to the USS Yorktown for the afternoon. I had been listening to something on my phone and by late afternoon, my battery was very low. Around 4 PM, while in the bottom section of the boat, my phone rang. by the time I pulled it out, call went to voice mail. i had to go out on deck to get the voice mail, which was the hotel calling. The message was confusing and said i had till 5 pm before my reservation would be cancelled. I left the air craft carried to go to my car and charge my phone to call the hotel back and figure out the issue. They said there was a problem with my card. I had used it to get into Yorktown, and had paid for several hotels the week before. Still had $9K available credit and my bill was paid as it had been every month for 19 years (I checked the card website before calling them to see if there was something with my account). So, it couldn't be the card, had to be on their end, but they were going to cancel my reservation. again, I assumed when i paid at my reservation that all was good. Why wouldn't i? I called and they said they would hold it till i got there if I was on my way. So i had to skip out on the rest of the yorktown and go deal with this issue. I got there, told the clerk who i was. Pulled out my ID, AAA card and credit card. The girl said she only needed my ID, so I thought they must have re-run the card and it was all fine. Glad that was resolved, clerk gave me my paperwork, key card and i was on my way. I went to the room, and decided rather than use daylight to unpack, i still had a couple of hours of daylight and headed to the beach. This was around 5 PM as they demanded on the VM. around 7 PM. my phone rang on the beach. I answered, and it was someone saying she was from the hotel. She said my card did not work and I needed to resolve this issue. I was walking the beach so some distance from my car, but told her I would head back. as I walked towards my car, the lady called again and this time was more rude than the time before. She said she had to have a credit card right then. I'm thinking that I've just been there. I'm not even confident that this is someone from the hotel. But i was leaving the beach to head back, again changing my plans. I told the lady that I had been there a couple of hours ago, had my card out and the clerk did not need it. I presumed al
