Great venue for our Reunion; hotel handled our large group well, especially the banquet. The breakfasts and banquet were very well organized.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place Charleston/Historic District. I found it to be a great location. It does get a little crazy on the weekends. They close half of King St on the weekends. Lots of activity. The rooftop bar at the hotel was low key when we went on Wed night but Friday night was happening!! It's an interesting setup where you get a wristband to purchase drinks. Hotel was clean. Room was nice. Room service was a little lacking when they didn't replace the Kleenex but overall pretty good. We visited the lobby hotel bar one night and the bartender wasn't very friendly. Can't win them all. I would stay at this hotel again.

Better room furnishings could move the stars upward from 3.5 -4 to 4.5 - 5.

Beautiful entrance and friendly staff; some carpet stains in public areas but the room is very clean. The pillows flatten out immediately, but there are extra pillows. Enjoyable stay close to King Street shopping.

Some of the hallways had an odor and there was trash near the elevators that was there the entire stay. Staff was not friendly at check-in. Breakfast was average but adequate.

Overall nice stay. Close to shopping and dining I was there for a half marathon. Walkable distance to and from race. Concierge very nice, offered free passes to events but it required going off site to get them, an hour presentation and no ride back. Didn’t appreciate the sales pitch

This place was great, I was able to check in early and leave my luggage with the hotel before my late flight out after check out. Complimentary water each day - was so great. Highly recommend and walking distance to all the fun places.
