The sliding glass door on our room that is nailed shut was actually open about a quarter of an inch and so we heard this awful howling sound all night long. Literally didn't sleep. The staff was very kind the next morning about the situation.. hopefully it gets fixed.

The restaurant and staff were especially impressive. A shout out to Alvaro and Jo Jo. Great views, comfortable bed, helpful staff. We came for a visit for Charleston historical sites and the holiday inn Riverview was a convenient and comfortable spot. Also great tips from staff.

We had a great experience with our stay. The beds was comfortable. Room was clean. Glad there was a shuttle to town and back to hotel. But the restaurant on top floor was awesome. The staff was super. Our waiter, Alvaro, was AWESOME. He went above and beyond. Keep a smile on his face. Made us feel very special. Thank you Alvaro. Thank you Holiday Inn

There was a nice room had everything in it except it didn't have it a hinge for the lock to go in on the front door it was just a hole in the joist but otherwise it was a good stay good courteous man pick me up took me there

Noisy location due to the poor quality room setup and seal of the glass door. Traffic is constant and noisy and the area is difficult to exit due to being directly on the highway. The homeless people were nice though.

My husband and I took our first visit trip to Charleston and stayed at this hotel. My husband is a Diamond Elite status with IHG hotels and we were surprised when we checked in that we had been upgraded to stay in a suite on the 14th floor. We stayed for 4 nights. We ate a big breakfast each morning and we were served by Alvaro each morning. He was a gracious greeter and server each morning, even when they were short staffed one morning while we were there. I am locking forward to our next visit to Charleston and we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Wonderful views and even better service. My husband and I spent our anniversary at this location and it was great. Jamie was absolutely the best front desk person we have ever experienced at a hotel. Very friendly and professional. She's a big reason why we will be back. Give that girl a raise!

I liked the reasonable price of the room & the location. The hotel itself could use some updating. While the beds were comfortable & the linens appeared to be clean - the floors were grimy and definitely needed a good mop. The bathroom counters also needed a good wipe down as well as the bathroom. The TVS volume wouldn’t go any lower than 8 - which was pretty loud in my opinion. The telephone wouldn’t work at all - no dial tone, was just overall kind of sketchy.
