The rooms are not worth the price at all. Completely outdated. Showers didn’t get that warm. Workers started with heavy machinery very early in the morning and woke us up. Definitely disappointed in the stay and it was for my wife’s birthday.

Was very nice had a great time and the food was delicious along with the drinks. The room was nice bed was nice all around good. The van for the trips was very hot the air did not work need fixed.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Worth the money and double that for what you get, kind and helpful staff, and beautiful locale. Had a wonderful honeymoon and assuming we save well, will hopefully return one day for an anniversary trip!

While the all inclusive option is nice, the food and drinks were good, and the staff/service were great, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms felt like you were glamping/camping at the beach as opposed to being at a hotel/resort. They are in desperate need of updating and are pretty dingy, dirty,dark. I unfortunately ignored other reviews saying the same thing and regret that. The shower dial was falling out of the wall, there were long dark hairs in the towels and in the shower. All of the hangers in the closet were rusty. The AC didn’t work well. The keycard wouldn’t open the back door looking towards the beach. The toilet roll holder is one of those giant multi-roll plastic holders you would find in a public bathroom. The beach is really rocky, to the point we couldn’t enjoy being in the water and swimming. We cut our trip short and stayed there one night before moving to a different resort. Would not recommend this hotel unfortunately. Giving a 2 star overall review because all of the staff were very friendly and food was good, but that’s about it.

The place is older, but the staff, food, adventures, were all top rate. There were a couple hiccups, but as soon as you talked to management they fixed our issues. The excursions were very fun, the staff for the board are all very knowledgeable and friendly.

For my first time travelling solo, I found this to be the best possible place to be. I felt safe, comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of.

We took our family of six(boys ages 15 to 9) to Bolongo. They enjoyed the pool and got a lot of chocolate shakes from the bar. We enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange dream. We went on two Heavenly Dream boat tours and enjoyed them both. The sea turtle swim is very relaxed. The crew was helpful and nice. We enjoyed the food, but plan on at least an hour for dinner. Snorkeling is great on the boat tours and not bad in bolongo bay. The rooms do there job, but are not the fanciest.
