Because of an NBA game, we came to the charming city of Charlotte and had a great experience staying at the Garden Hotel! First of all, the location is excellent. The Spectrum Center, Science Museum, Library, Hall of Fame and other attractions within a radius of one kilometer are all within walking distance. There is a farmer market downstairs, but unfortunately it is only open on Sundays. There are whole food supermarkets nearby. It’s also very close. You can buy some food and heat it back at the hotel. There is a coffee machine and a microwave in the room. I was so smart that I turned the coffee machine into a kettle. Hahaha. As long as I understand the principle, everything can be used by me.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds, good location to downtown and surrounding areas, easy to get in and out of. I chose my room # through the app but digital key didn’t work, in fact my room wasn’t ready even though I arrived 2 hrs after check in time, I was told unapologetically that I’d have to wait at least another hour or so, which I found unacceptable even more so the front desk’s attitude about the situation, like they couldn’t care any less and take it or leave it kind of attitude. Hopefully manage my can do something about that for future guests. Left a sour taste in this location, I will prob book some place else next time.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, in. Charlotte Uptown. We had an event at the Convention Center for the weekend, and it was an easy walk right over to the venue from the hotel. Loved the location and the nearby amenities that the city had to offer. It was a an easy walk to all nearby restaurants and shops.
