MainStay Suites Charlotte - Executive Park

The radio was boring, could not turn it off. Had to unplug it.coulnt find glasses to drink out of. No garbage can in kitchen or bedroom. Recliner was broken, once out, it wouldn't close. Bathtub cracked.

I booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced with a kitchenette and close to the freeway. Being next to office buildings, I assumed business clientele. This hotel appears to be transitional housing for folks or low income housing. Everyone was nice I came across, even the kids playing out front were good. The building itself has been used hard, carpets stained, and smelly of cigarettes. The room was clean. Linens and bed checked out clean. Air conditioner could use a cleaning but otherwise no complaints with the room. I would not stay here again. Thankfully it was just me and not my family otherwise we would have found a different place to stay.

The room was clean and quiet, the hallways had stained carpets, there were dented room doors, and an odor all over.

There were people fighting and slamming doors this was quite for the most part

Carpets are dirty throughout. Noisy guests, who are mainly locals, often yelling at dogs or children.No staff present besides the front-desk person and they are not even at the front mostly. No visible Security Guards on the compound or in the building! Furniture is old and soiled, like the carpets. Photos on ******* are misleading and should be updated! The place has a lot of potential given its proximity to Tyvola Park and other hotels but it needs remodeling and having less “shady-looking”, noisy guests. Maybe it’s so cheap that anyone can afford extended stays there! It’s totally different from Extended-Stay America although Mainstay Suites is managed by Choice Hotels, which is surprising, given the low standard.

Do not stay at this property no worker people hanging out like they live there

After reaching the property the front desk informed they don't have any rooms available! Thankfully I was able to get help from ********** customer support and *******. I have another reservation coming up with the same property and I'm hoping I won't face the same issue again!

Seriously needs renovation and the bathroom in my room was absolutely filthy and nasty

The lady at the front deak was lovely. Very nice and helped me find a dog friendly place for dinner. I did not stay here though. It was awful. Garbage all over the parking lot, empty bottles thrown everywhere, the room was terrible and i felt very unsafe as a female solo traveller. I ate dinner somewhere else, found a new hotel, and got out of there!
