Hotel Sunset American Reviews

The Hotel is located next to Steakhouse, BBQ and Italian Restaurants and the Sunabe Wall dive site. If you arrive by bus the hotel is a 15min Walk away from the Bus stop of the Kadena US Military Base Entrance. They have free laundry and vending machines for food and drinks. I had a nice stay. The room was small but tidy and I had views on city and ocean.

Room is clean and have the basic amenities, however the room enclosed pitch black if you didn’t turn on the light as the window is all covered, front desk offer 1000yen for sea view with balcony room, decide not to upgrade as only stay one night and the weather is cloudy so no sunset view.

It’s okay and affordable

It was my first time traveling alone, and it was a very good and memorable hotel. I headed to the hotel with a pounding heart, wondering if Sunabe was a little unsafe, but I felt that it was full of happiness, with foreigners training, walking their dogs, people reading on the breakwater, surfing and snorkeling. I didn't go out until late at night, so I didn't feel the atmosphere of the city at night, but I can't say it's safe. It's a residential area, but it's pitch black. When the tide goes out in front of the sea, you can see crabs, hermit crabs, and small beautiful fish. It's quiet at night and you can hear the sound of the waves. I was lucky to stay on the upper floors and had a great view. You may encounter a mysterious experience that you can't have in Tokyo. There are so many Instagram-worthy shops that you won't have any trouble finding food, but there are no convenience stores nearby, so I felt that the downside was that you can't just go out and get something to eat when you're hungry. I'd like to stay again next summer.

It is located on the seafront, so it is a good location for sea lovers. If there are bicycles available, you can rent one for about 500 yen a day.

It is a good accommodation for the price. The sea view in the morning and at sunset was really beautiful. Since the parking space is used by other people as well as the hotel, there may not be a space if you visit late at night or park. It was also good because it was close to American Village.

The hotel hygiene is very poor, very bad experience. Just the location is okay.

I stayed here for 4 nights for the first time. I was told on the first day to take towels from the front desk every day! What I especially disliked was that the room was never cleaned or the bed made during my 4 night stay! The bed, comforter, and pillows all smelled disgusting! I bought my own bath towel and used it instead of the comforter. I didn't use the bath towel in the shower and used it instead of the bed sheets. I especially want the sleeping area to be kept clean, so I want it to be cleaned every day. White bed sheets and comforter covers are best. The hotel's bed sheets and comforter covers were a color that didn't show dirt, so I didn't feel clean! The amenities were completely different from the ones shown in the photos by the hotel.

It feels like the Regent Hotel with sea view! The room is very small and smells of oil smoke (maybe I live on the ground floor and there is a restaurant downstairs). There is a self-service snack, noodle, soda and beer machine on the third floor, as well as disposable chopsticks. The most important thing is that there is free laundry and dryer, which is upstairs There are many restaurants nearby, and the price and sea view are worth it! However, I personally think it is only suitable for drug ******* or backpackers.
