Myself and my partner had afternoon tea at the hotel on Saturday just gone and what a delight it was from start to finish. Despite the hotel being quite busy with functions etc the attention to detail was immaculate. The food was incredibly fresh, tea and coffee was regularly topped up, the service was spot on and the environment was just right. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience which we would highly recommend!

This way our second time staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed it. The staff are so lovely and will always go out of their way to help you. Rooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds are tranquil and well kept. Breakfast is always great. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. Can't fault it

Just home from celebrating my daughters wedding at this beautiful venue. We had booked in for 2 nights with breakfast and a pre wedding dinner. The breakfast was lovely, the pre wedding dinner was good too. The staff couldn't do enough for us and always made themselves available to answer any questions or help out. The wedding co-ordinator was there all day the day before and for the entire wedding day and she was amazing. The rooms were lovely and spacious (a bit warm, but then we worked out how to turn down the heating). We had the best day at the wedding and a lovely stay at Pontlands Park.

We stayed at Pontlands two weekend running, had a Deluxe room and a standard room. The rooms were beautiful, very well appointed have everything you need, lovely bedding, quality decoration and furniture, bathrooms were very bright and spacious with good towels and bath products. The grounds are very well cared for, immaculate in fact and very beautiful. All the staff are polite and courteous nothing is too much trouble. We only had breakfast in the hotel, it was extremely good plenty of choice and very well presented and of good quality. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope I do soon!

Decide to book a last minute break for the night for our family. Called and spoke to a very help receptionist that informed us they were very busy but had one room left. We booked dinner for the two days and breakfast was included, when we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly way and made to feel welcome soon as we walked in. The food from start to finish was excellent the hotel facilities in every aspect was perfect, considering there were fully booked with numerous functions on it never affected the service and care given to us. To round it up I’d like to say well done to all the staff in every aspect and look forward to returning soon. Perfect relaxing break just what we needed thank you!

We hired a room for a wake, the waitress was lovely and could not do enough for you. The selection of food was poor for the cost and some items were very dry as if they had been prepared some time in advance and left uncovered. The Hotel looked rather tired.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here with close family and friends and everything was perfect. We had the Baddow room for a hot fork buffet. Everybody thought the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. 12 of the adults and 5 children stayed the night and we all said how lovely the rooms were and how good the breakfast was. The children enjoyed the pool next door. A wonderful venue for guests from Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Hampshire, Surrey and London.
