"We had a really lovely stay at Premier Inn. The staff were absolutely fantastic – so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. When we found the air conditioning in our room wasn't working, they tried to fix it straight away, and when that wasn't possible, they brought us a fan to make us more comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice and everything was fresh and tasty. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't working and the USB charging sockets by the bed were also broken, so we couldn't charge our phones there. Apart from those issues, we had a brilliant stay and would definitely return. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!"

"Travelodge does not have twin rooms so I booked a family room for my wife and I. under normal circumstances the room would have been good. On the second night the room got incredibly hot as Chelmsford hit 35 degrees that day and it didn't cool down much at night. The window opens just a tiny bit . The fan was small and to weak to cope with that kind of temperatures. Apart from that I can say that the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Millie and Adish were outstanding during their shift."

"The room is very spacious...and the hotel is in the middle of a very wide grass...you can drive or do the bus to arrive...the hotel at night is very beautiful...the quiet environment can also see a lot of stars in the sky...the meal bar can watch football games"

"No aircon and as we were in a heatwave the bedroom was incredibly hot Very good staff and the meals were fine The restaurant however had all the appeal of a 1950's works canteen. Not a patch on the traditional Beefeater"
