Premier Inn Cheltenham Central (West/A40) Hotel

The breakfast was the best I have had in a Premier Inn. Everything was cooked to perfection. John took great effort and pride in what he put out. Great job. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent. Chef Joel particularly helpful at breakfast. Staff all very friendly.

My partner and I visited this hotel once again in May 2024. We found plenty of space in the ample car park, quickly got booked in and found our room. We were both impressed by the clean and tidy room, with a comfy, large double king sized bed. We went to the small breakfast room and were greeted by the ever smiling Cindy, shown to a table and enjoyed a lovely breakfast, looked after expertly by Chef Joel. It was a treat to enjoy the extensive buffet breakfast in relative peace. Our best wishes go to all the hard working staff at this Hotel.

Be aware of the Train lines 10 Mtrs away at the Hotel side, running from 6am to nearly Midnight..!! Also WiFi frequently going off completely.. However Comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, as you'd expect at a Premier Inn

One of the better PI hotels that I have stayed at. TGI Friday next door for diner as the hotel restaurant was for breakfast only. The room was comfortable and clean. I come to Cheltenham regularly and will book here in preference. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful.

Natalia and Joel were excellent at 06.00 this morning at breakfast. They were so enthusiastic and happy at that time in the morning, they really did set us off on the right step. I would definitely recommend breakfast here if you’re feeling hungry! Staff are amazing! Thanks.

Chosen for it's convenient location for a family party the hotel itself is fairly small and in need of some modernisation in the rooms, all clean but somewhat tired. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and we would like to make special mention of the Chef named Joel. He ran the small dining area and kitchen spotlessly and very well. All of the food was presented excellently and was always fresh as was cooked to order. The hot breakfast was very tasty and filling. Joel was very polite and eager to ensure that we received excellent service. He was assisted by a female colleague in the dining room but regretfully we do not know her name...

Great location for where we needed to be. TGI Fridays at the side was a big bonus for us to have something to eat quite late on in the evening. Car park was fine; no issues. Check in was very quick & easy. Staff were very polite & respectful. Family room was good with plenty of room. Room was clean with fresh bath towels & hand towel provided. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. Bedding was clean & fresh. Beds were a little too hard for me personally but it would not stop me staying here again. Plenty of breakfast choices for everyone & the dining room was cosy & clean. Staff helpful too. The cooked breakfast, especially the eggs need seasoning; a little bland. Chef was lovely though. More teapots needed. Check out was easy. Would definitely return to this Premier Inn.

Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend in March. Standard premier inn, comfy bed, clean and modern. The breakfast room is small and can get crowded. TGI Fridays is right next door but no other places to eat or drink close by. Nearest pub is 20 minutes walk and not many shops close by. It takes about half an hour to walk into Cheltenham from the hotel, or you can hop on the bus which runs every 10 minutes or so in the daytime. Good base for exploring the area as close to major roads and out of the city centre. Reasonable price.
