"The rooms are lovely for the price, some of the people at the front desk are nice and actually help with a problem, the bad things about this place is the people that come here are very loud and some are quite rude, you get some drug ******* hanging about outside the hotel’s entrance so if i was you take everything of value in your room with you to be safe. The first night was okay other than the drug ******* hanging about outside makes you feel a bit uncomfortable cause they come up to you and ask you for stuff or food. The second night was a bit unenjoyable cause the people were shouting from late at night and there was multiple tv’s on during the night, woke up at 5am to very very loud bangs that weren’t travelodge builders or repair people then again at 6am and 7am, some guy said that he was hearing it all through the night and when he went to say something to the front desk they pushed him aside saying basically he was imagining it but he had video proof and i also heard it and it woke me up. Also seems that people have problem getting back in their rooms because of the key cards they give people, happened twice to me. Overall i wouldn’t ideally recommend this place as the people and the knocking and the key problems are consistent."

"Great hotel and location on the outskirts of Cheltenham with leisure facilities which sadly I didn't have time to use. The room was spacious, well equiped, clean and with the added bonus of a window that opens for fresh air. The hotel wifi was excellent and no issues with streaming a live football match (my team won!). There is a very large car park which has barriers for entry and exit. There is a charge to use the car park which is a shame given it is not a city centre location. Overall, excellent hotel and will certainly return when on business in September."

"The place is freezing. Heat is thermostatically controlled and you can’t turn it up to be warm because it’s locked. TV also locked. It cannot be heard? I’m not kidding? DB METER read 34decibels from the tv? FGS? Flowers make more noise!! Food was awful! The wait for service at the bar was ridiculous. It was unmanned? I was told they were busy and the food would be a long time? There were fifteen people in the whole place? I was told to wait 90 minutes before dinner would be available. When it did arrive it was warm and poor. Staff were toothless and nose-ringed. Hardly spoke, were very unwelcoming and rather dull in reception. The “person” in the reception couldn’t tie a bloody shoelace! Honestly! 🙄 It’s not like this is a unique experience in this brand of hotel!"

"A very terrible and messed-up experience. It’s winter, not summer. I stayed at this hotel for one night. When I checked in, the heater wasn’t working. I informed the hotel, and it took more than an hour for a technician to come. When he finally arrived, he checked it very poorly and brought a small portable heater — which didn’t work either. When I went out for dinner and came back to the hotel, they had taken the spare heater away. They entered my room without permission while I was not there. Luckily, I didn’t leave any valuables in the room. The heater did not work the entire night. I had to suffer in the freezing cold, shivering with a fever. I couldn’t sleep at all and kept watching the clock, waiting for morning so I could finally leave this nightmare. I ended up getting sick with a fever and a cold and had to take time off work, which is completely unfair. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I have stayed in many hotels and have never left negative feedback before because they were all good. But this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. If the room is not ready, do not open it for guests. It’s extremely disappointing. Can they even take responsibility if a guest freezes to death in the room? Anyone looking for accommodation — do not stay here. There are many other hotels in Cheltenham that are properly prepared and provide better service."
