Ate in the restaurant, meal was okay however had food envy after eating mine and seeing someone elses meal! It looks like a lovely hotel, atmosphere however was very quiet and subdued, the waiting staff hardly spoke even when asked questions which was a bit odd! Maybe would be better if you went in a larger group. Not sure if I would go again to be honest. Quite expensive but we were expecting that. Went for a special birthday, which was on my booking, however nothing was mentioned about it so that was a bit disappointing.

We have rarely left happier after a hotel stay. Wonderful welcome from brilliant staff (particularly Roxy), clean room, comfy bed, big bath and great breakfast. Even had two glasses of complimentary fizz. The Georgian house feels intimate and cosy. Very tastefully decorated throughout.

After careful deliberation, we chose No.38 The Park as the venue for our daughter's christening celebration. It was the most beautiful event that really exceeded our expectations, and actually brought tears to my eyes upon entering the restaurant room this afternoon. The warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Alasdair was meticulous in his correspondence and attention to detail throughout, and Remy was an absolutely outstanding host. The afternoon tea was prepared exactly as I had asked; delicious, scrumptious and enjoyed by all guests. My husband and I have been very fortunate to have stayed in some of the most luxurious hotels in the UK and Europe and I would safely say that the staff at No.38 The Park were on par with such competitors and exceptional in their professionalism and taking an interest in the event itself. We felt very special from beginning to end.

This hotel is very plush and well decorated to the highest standard! It’s exactly what they say, a home from a home. We came for our anniversary and booked the premium double room with the freestanding bath being in the bedroom, they decorated it with balloons and a card to congratulate us which made it extra special. The toiletries smell amazing and comes with all sorts - bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, vanity kit, flannels, shower cap, as well as very comfy bathrobes; not the itchy kind you get at other hotels. The bed was a super king with amazing and comfy pillows and bedding. The smart TV in the room topped it off too! The hotel itself is in a very convenient location with the centre being only a 10 minute walk away straight down the main road. We’re thoroughly looking forward to visiting again in April for my Birthday!!!

Dined in the restaurant as a meal with my partner. Wonderful meal (we both had the scallops to start, chicken supreme & the venison as mains, then the pineapple Eton mess and the tiramisu). All absolutely delightful- nothing to fault whatsoever! The real highlight however was the service, which is outstanding. The staff are so lovely and very welcoming, and made us feel very special. Strongly recommended.

Had a two night stay at No.38 The Park.we stayed in an excellent room which was at the front of the property. Please be mindful if you are not used to traffic noise you should request a room to the rear. This was our second trip to this property so that speaks volumes as to why we returned.The boutique hotel is shabby chic, quirky with a modern twist and tastefully decorated. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and nothing is too much if you ask for anything. Please take into consideration if you are staying Sunday _ Tuesday many restaurants are closed in Cheltenham as is the hotel’s restaurant. We would certainly return to this beautiful boutique hotel in the near future. And we are a complete fan of Autumn the resident pooch. Thank you 😊
